Hey everyone , yesterday just before the top of the hour I was joking around a bit with the team in the gallery. I was pretending to count down as the director was counting me down from 10-0.. including the fingers to show the number. So from 10 fingers held up to one. When we got to 1 I turned finger around as a joke and did not realise that this would be caught on camera. It was a private joke with the team and I’m so sorry it went out on air! It was not my intention for this to happen and I’m sorry if I offended or upset anyone. I wasn’t ‘ flipping the bird’ at viewers or even a person really. It was a silly joke that was meant for a small number of my mates. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@jeremycorbyn YES! A ceasefire is very much needed as what Palestinians are going through is heart breaking and now with a communications blackout, I dread to think about what they are going through.

Two weeks ago, we marched in London for a ceasefire. Last week, we marched for a ceasefire. Today, we marched for a ceasefire. This massacre has to end — we need a ceasefire, now.

A little story for a wet Friday night. Near my house I found a wallet in the road. When opening it I found a bank card, some cash, a library and a youth club card. And also a front door key. The person who dropped it is 14 and could be locked out so I set out to find him….1/6

@ConfedMatthew It is really amazing just how unhelpful some organizations can be - or should that be the employees in organisations. In some they’re not even allowed to look at an account without id verification - even if their customer is potentially going to suffer because of it.

In vain I pointed out that I didn’t want any information or to contact the wallet owner just to reassure them and give them my details. After 15 minutes of failed persuasion and being told it would do no good speaking to someone senior I gave up. Then, plan b 4/6

Israeli air strikes have hit Al Ahli hospital in Gaza. More than 500 people - patients, doctors & those sheltering - have been killed. What unspeakable horror. We will mourn their loss forever. Our leaders could have spoken up for peace. They chose to cheer on war instead. When will they demand an end to these atrocious war crimes? How many Palestinian lives will it take to call for these indiscriminate killings to stop? Please, for the sake of humanity, raise your voice for an immediate ceasefire. The existence of the Palestinian people is at stake.

@jeremycorbyn From someone who held a position in politics, this comment is highly irresponsible and helps to provoke more hatred from the Arab world against Israel. Now it is highly likely that a Hamas rocket was responsible for this.
