This is a threat of genocide and merits removal from office. The President’s mental faculties are collapsing and cannot be trusted. To every individual in the President’s chain of command: You have a duty to refuse illegal orders. That includes carrying out this threat.

"A whole civilization will die tonight” are words no President of the United States had ever spoken until this morning. Donald Trump’s behavior is unhinged and making Americans less safe. After a 25-year career in the United States Navy, I have never met or served with anyone who so completely lacks the qualities of good leadership as Donald Trump does. If the President takes the actions he has threatened to take, countless Iranian civilians will die, it will massively escalate this war, and the United States will be seen as a country without a moral or ethical compass. That will make Americans less safe right now and risk the lives of thousands of service members. The consequences will have a lasting and damaging effect on our nation. Trump's mistakes have led us to this perilous moment, but the solution is not to escalate even further. This must stop.

This man is threatening mass killings and war crimes on social media posts. When will enough be enough? This is why the 25th Amendment and impeachment were created. These aren’t policy differences. He is threatening crimes. It’s time to invoke the 25th. But we can’t do it alone—we need our Republican colleagues to do the right thing, for this country and for the world.

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this. Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people. We must all stand against this and oppose funding this illegal war of choice.

Seriously, how deranged does this guy seem to you? This appears to be some type of game to him. "A whole civilization will die tonight." One thing he's does'nt take into consideration is that killing is the last thing anyone should want. Netanyahu has placed Trump in a very bad spot. Now, Trump doesn't want to look like the cowardly cad that he is. Impeachment is way too good for Trump and those who could stop him. It's very obvious that he's mentally bankrupt. Heaven help us all.

The White House wonders why Europe won’t rally behind America in Iran. Maybe start by asking why your Vice President is flying to Budapest to have a warm chat with Viktor Orban, the man running a Russian influence operation from inside NATO’s borders. While Europe has been bleeding money and weapons to stop Russian aggression, Hungary has been blocking NATO decisions, sheltering Russian intelligence, and doing Moscow’s diplomatic dirty work at every turn. Orban isn’t America’s friend. He’s Putin’s man in Brussels. And JD Vance calls him a “good friend.” Europe is supposed to line up behind a war that had no plan for day two, no strategy for the Strait of Hormuz, and no consultation with allies beyond Israel. A war that has already sent oil past $100 a barrel and left one of America’s most powerful warships reportedly retreating toward the Indian Ocean. You don’t get to lecture Europe about loyalty while embracing the man working to destroy the alliance from within, and then demand backup for a war you started without asking anyone. You don’t get it. Iran wants America to suffer for their attacks. They aren’t going to roll over because they have the upper hand right now with Trump. Their goal is to make Trump pay. A ceasefire won’t do that.

You have to have really fucked up as the US President for Iran to reject a ceasefire from you. We’ve got the weight of CENTCOM and one of the most powerful militaries in the world, yet we somehow still look weak w/ our president ranting and begging Iran to reopen the Strait
