I think a question we should all be asking is: If Bitcoin is digital gold, why isn’t it behaving as such?

If you think Bitcoin “failed” because it’s slow, you don’t understand what it is yet. Bitcoin isn’t an app. It’s the thing apps are built on. When I uderstood the following, I saw Bitcoin in a new light. Lets go back to the birth of the Internet. TCP/IP was designed in the 1970s. TCP/IP was adopted on January 1, 1983. Even then, most of the world had no idea it existed. SMTP (the protocol that makes email work) was standardized in 1982. Both protocols are still the foundational infrastructure we use every single day for the internet, for email, for commerce, for entertainment, for everything. They didn't replace existing systems overnight. They built a new layer beneath them. A base-layer protocol that allowed higher-order applications to flourish over decades. HTTP didn't exist until 1989. The World Wide Web didn't launch until 1991. E-commerce didn't scale until the late 1990s. Social media didn't explode until the 2000s. None of that happens without TCP/IP sitting silently underneath, doing its job. And here's the kicker: Bitcoin is the same kind of base-layer protocol. It's not trying to replace Visa by next Thursday. It's not trying to convince your local Starbucks to accept Lightning payments by Q2 2026. It's building the foundational rails for decentralized, scarce, incorruptible digital money, and every application, financial product, and sovereign wealth strategy built on top of it will take decades to fully mature. Just like email. Just like the internet. Just like every paradigm-shifting protocol in human history. Bitcoin is like the internet. It's a protocol.

@BlockExtreme @MikeDailyArt @HAFPINTMUSIC @The_Cryptoh_Pro My dad was a genius. You can look back through my TL and see I never believed CSW or his garbage because my dad taught me how to think rationally and logically. Maybe if you guys knew your dads you’d have the same skillset.

So many red flags as it’s noticeable Copa didn’t want to know the truth but instead call Craig a liar and a fraud faketoshi Craig literally repeating himself all day check the myob files live on the aws database but copa lawyers didn’t want to shine light on that evidence as it would show Craig is not lying and is Satoshi Instead they made their own documents and tried to say it’s Craig’s forgery docs Craig calling it out like a gangsta in court and got this lawyer shook and stuttering 🚩 And all 3 copa expert witnesses did not follow the directions to verify , why no one on copa went online live???? 😂 intentionally or maybe not expert enough to click a dam button lol You can’t make this shit up Look at the body language you can see the liars and criminals in the court room they purposely did not want to verify Craig’s evidence 🚩 they also spent the whole day on this MYOB files because they didn’t want to go over any other evidence as it would be on record for the world to see & for me to Confirm lol 😂 hello 👋 Copa members and copa are thieves and scammers and liars That’s why Facebook was like hell nah I’m Not making a fools out myself like you idiots I’m out peace ✌️ 😂 you can see how shook the lawyers are And how confident Craig is Why don’t copa speak about this Why don’t copa verify it now and show it to the world Why silence and keep it a secret and the only thing they cling to is faketoshi But guess what you and I can verify it now and see csw is NOT lying. 🚩 madden was the expert witness but why didn’t he appear and discuss his case review ( cause he would be lying on record ruining his career ) Instead this clown here keeps saying maddens report says your lying ,your a fraud but won’t verify the evidence. 😂 🚩 2019 usa 🇺🇸 accepted this evidence and verified so why didn’t any of these millionaire lawyers bring it up that USA 🇺🇸 have MYOB records on file ???? And its official as csw says 🚩 the lawyer himself didn’t go Online live and doesn’t know how it works but insist Craig is lying and wrong You see the pattern here guys ?

@theswansjr Intrinsic value is based on something's underlying characteristics, not its current value. I wouldn't say BTC has no intrinsic value, just not a very useful one.

"Bitcoin has no intrinsic value." Let me translate that. Nike shoes cost $8 to make. They sell for $180. The difference? A swoosh. A story. Collective belief. A Picasso is paint on canvas. A Rolex is just a clock. A Louis Vuitton bag is stitched fabric. You have never once demanded intrinsic value from anything you paid a premium for. "Intrinsic value" is a phrase people reach for when they haven't thought about where value actually comes from. It comes from belief. Always has. Bitcoin's believers are just the ones who wrote it into unbreakable math.

S Tominaga (Aka Dr Craig Wright)
BTC is not TCP/IP. The comparison has the elegance of a silk waistcoat placed upon a scarecrow. TCP/IP endured because it became the working grammar of networks. It scaled because it was designed as an internetworking architecture. Its layers are actual protocol layers: IP, TCP, UDP, routing, transport, application interfaces, all functioning inside a coherent communications stack. TCP did not survive because speculators admired it. It survived because machines used it. BTC has not achieved anything analogous. It is not widely used as a cash system. It does not scale on-chain. It survives through market lock-in, not technical supremacy. That makes it less like TCP/IP and rather more like DECnet: once impressive, once installed, once defended by incumbents, and then increasingly a monument to yesterday’s architecture. Nor does TCP/IP suffer from BTC’s governance theatre. TCP is stable in the meaningful sense: the core protocol does not require committees of priestly maintainers to reinterpret its purpose every few years while pretending the altar has never moved. Its stability is functional. BTC’s alleged stability is political. One is engineering; the other is etiquette among custodians of constraint. And “layers” in BTC are not layers in the network sense. They are external systems built around an incapacity. IP layers are part of the communications architecture. BTC “layers” are workarounds, side arrangements, liquidity contraptions, trusted intermediations, and accounting systems that exist because the base system cannot do the work it was meant to do. A better system does not “replace the internet” because the internet is not a speculative asset. It is a protocol substrate. BTC is not such a substrate. It is a restricted settlement token with a branding department and a congregation. The internet won because it connected the world. BTC has spent years explaining why it need not.

"A better crypto will replace Bitcoin." Go ahead. Name the company that replaced the internet. TCP/IP was written in 1974. It's still running your phone, your bank, your hospital records. Not because it's perfect. Because network effects don't care about perfect. Bitcoin has: 15 years of unbroken security The deepest mining infrastructure on earth Sovereign nation adoption $2T in assets secured on its ledger "Better" doesn't displace this. It builds on top of it. That's exactly what's happening.

Bitcoin is deeply out of favour right now. The tourists have left and the wider investing community has moved on. It barely gets a mention these days. Despite this, Saylor has accumulated 4% of the entire supply. Only the true believers remain. Whatever happens from here, whether this goes to $0 or $1 million, it will be written about for generations. I'm betting big on Bitcoin going to $1 million.

This video is over 40,000 views as of Monday morning, and I've decided that I am going to do a detour called "Follow The Money" for Bitcoin History Series Part 4B. I am going to go as deep as the public record will let me go on where the money came from and where it went from late 2010 until 2015 leading into the Bitcoin Civil War.
