Election night, as Poilievre was boasting about his “success,” his lieutenant was bitterly attacking Ford on national TV, basically blaming him for the defeat. This is not going away. Poilievre and Byrne are determined to purge the party of everyone who does not share their attack-dog, crackpopulist approach to politics. It’s a hell of a way to rebuild — by launching a civil war with the premier of the country’s largest province. Oh and the premier of Nova Scotia as well.
