@_baldtires @aarondfrancis If I come home with a "regular" amount of cheese on her burrito... nope. I'm going in and ordering in person. I need that in-person extra cheese.

With this many processes open / streaming, I consider this a great victory (at great personal cost 😂) Still more we can do though!

@aaronluannguyen @aarondfrancis I’m here for the native worktree support. Plz oh plz offer some sort of hook style setup or sumthin so we can bootstrap them (in my case I clone .env and rewrite new database names/prefixes/etc, clone databases and all that for the worktrees

@swalker326 @aarondfrancis Never. At the current prices and quotas it’s fiscally irresponsible to use the api if you can use a sub. I often rack up single sessions that dwarf the $200/m sub they’re going through.

@aarondfrancis I assume you did a cost analysis, what point based on your usage does the api make more sense?

@aarondfrancis @RepoPrompt Yeah basically anything with smarter "find this code" without giant verbose greps etc help from what I've seen The built-in code search mechanisms to the harnesses aren't super optimized yet

@aarondfrancis We are gonna need pricing that admits the real use case is not one power user, it is one person running a small swarm. Parallel useful work per dollar matters more than raw token ceilings now.

@BakedJake @CoxComm Cox don’t care. Get fiber to the door or a business class connection with guaranteed bandwidth (cheaper to just move to somewhere with good fiber)

@CoxComm Is the worst. Yet again I cant stream because there is to much traffic in my area and they dont want to split the node. If you cant handle giving out that much internet, You shouldn't be selling it. I wish this company would get sued already. FCC complaint time I guess.

@tod_or_not @aarondfrancis Lifetime plans are basically always a bad idea long term. Both for the consumer and the developer. What incentive is there to maintain a product that has tons of lifetime licenses opposed to recurring revenue?

Now when an agent claims a todo, I show it in the top right of the terminal so you can know what they're working on. (Clickable, obviously)

@coreyhainesco @aarondfrancis Just expose the MCP to Claude and tell it to review the tools available and provide you a tutorial on the todos. It’ll be great.

@enpassantguy @aarondfrancis Pretty sure he mentioned recently he’s working on getting worktrees supported, for now I create the worktrees outside of Solo and import them as independent projects and it works great

how do you use git work trees in solo? Work trees is super easy in the Claude or codex app. Was struggling to understand more convenient ways to handle it in solo instead of manually running term commands. Also, did you ever add the diff viewer ? I didn’t see it on the last update.

@stevenharms @aarondfrancis This functions directly through/via oauth tokens/permission - so, through the official API's. No bot protection worries.

@stevenharms Humbly, my wife had a problem and with the help of @aarondfrancis and his soloterm, I solved it for her and anyone else who has the same problem. I wrote not a single line of code. 2 days vibing between housework resulted in: vod-manager.com
