Reproducibility is the linchpin of a verifiable software. Many great tools help make this easier (nix, etc) but StageX is a delightfully simple new project that is built on OCI images and layers and fully bootstrapped. This is one to follow stagex.tools

Bugs happen, but I'm increasingly skeptical of closed-source tools in highly sensitive roles precisely because their behavior is difficult to audit.

The multiplier of some malware getting injected into all login pages… Not too worried about something being broken, but the implied disregard for safety isn’t good.

I don't know where to put my finger on exactly, but Vitepress 2 beta has recently had some problems with code blocks after hydration, causing either code to mess up or remove the syntax highlight entirely This bug only happens when the page loads after hydration, switching to another page, and then it's fixed At first, I thought it was me having a skill issue However, I dig down, fix every hydration issue, disable minify, switch between both rollup and rolldown, downgrade several dependencies, and there is absolutely no warning or error log Check out the preview deployment from several months and it was also there This also happens with Shiki doc Couldn't find any ongoing issues report either, and have no idea how to reproduce, but I notice it happens on several docs written with Vitepress too Quite frustrating

@thekitze Wonder when we won't have to do that anymore. Can't tvs just understand when we change channel on hdmi1, start casting on hdmi2, or turn on video game on hdmi3? This experience is soo frustrating to have to do this manually
