Hard to not like the way Mitch Thompson continues to build the Baylor program. They are knocking on the door of breaking through and returning to the NCAA Tournament. I wouldn't want to see the Bears on my schedule in 2027, they are beyond due to make quite a bit of loud noise. Priority #1- Brady Janusek.

Call me old-fashioned, but this new ABS setup in the Southeastern Conference Tournament just don’t feel right. Part of college baseball’s always been the feel of the game. The catcher stealing a strike, the umpire finding his zone, hitters adjusting inning to inning. Now every other close pitch has folks tapping helmets and staring at a screen. Maybe it’s the future, but to some of us old heads, it feels like the game’s losing a little of its soul.

@MikeOxlong64 Had my analytics team run this, looks like Mon En Drinks increase OOWR (Out of Wedlock Relations) by .33% per drink per week, resetting each Monday. Calf tats, not unexpectedly, increase divorce by another 7.8%. Faux Hawk + Calf + Tricep Tat puts you at a staggering 70.8%.

If you have old English initials tatted on your tricep there is a 38% increase in your marriage ending in divorce. If you couple that with a mullet or a new age faux hawk, that percentage jumps to 63%. #Science

I have talked to D1 coaches from almost every conference, P4 and Mid Major, with records ranging from single digit wins to 40 wins.. If you are a pitcher hitting the portal the FIRST question I get is “Does he throw strikes?”.. don’t hit the portal after a 20 inning 30 walk season just because you throw 95.
