Transfer of blame is a sign of immaturity. It’s no one else’s fault. The official, a teammate, the coach, the weather. Suck it up, hold yourself accountable, make adjustments and work harder. Focus on what you can control. Preparation, attitude, effort, gratefulness, energy, focus.

Clean up early torso rotation🚨 @TreadAthletics: "If you keep the pelvis sideways longer, the glove arm & torso will tend to follow." In many cases, the glove & torso are opening early because the pelvis is leaking early. Fix the underlying cause, fix the symptoms.

Ohtani vs Crochet - Home Run to Centerfield Love evaluating Ohtani from his angle: - Loads later than you think - Loads hands + bat back and inside - Watch the head track the ball down and in - Watch the timing, load and unload of his belt loops vs the ball

THIS IS THE BEST EXPLANATION OF HOW THE SWING SHOULD WORK I HAVE SEEN ON THIS PLATFORM! “Barrel depth” is a newer term that the #gurus love to use and I laugh every time I hear it because people who understand hitting know that every thing you do with your barrel behind you creates a longer swing! Great job Wil Pujols! Don’t confuse your role with your value. Championship players don’t count minutes; they make their minutes count. A good teammate will never be defined by their role. A good teammate will be defined by their willingness to excel in that role.

We may not always sense God’s presence, but that’s because of the work of our spiritual enemy. When life’s horizons turn dark and circumstances threaten to overwhelm us, the devil whispers in our ear that God has abandoned us. When we give in to temptation, the devil berates us and tries to convince us that God would never stand beside such a flawed person. But we need to see through the strategies of our enemy. We need to cling to the rock-solid promises of our heavenly Father... Continue today's devotion at hubs.la/Q03W-4lX0

Everyone obsessed with that front shoulder “up”at toe touch… listen up. When you land at toe touch → heel plant, the front shoulder benefits the hitter more if it is slightly down or at least parallel. Not shrugged. Not lifted. Why? Because when that shoulder pops UP, your torso dumps all the tension you created during the load. No tension = no stored energy. No stored energy = you’re not maximizing rotation, swing path, or power. Period. It’s been this way since the beginning of time (uh not really, but you get the point) — and it continues to prove true. This is how hitters maximize their own power, no matter the size.
