Expectant mom, Katie, planned to wait until 3rd trimester to get the #COVID #vaccine. But at 24 weeks pregnant she got COVID. After being hospitalized & put on life support, she survived w/ her pregnancy intact. She regrets not getting the vaccine earlier. abc7.com/pregnant-covid…

I’ve watched my palliative attending talk with a lot of patients over the last couple weeks. When he introduces himself he explains what palliative care is, and that part of it is helping people make difficult medical decisions based on what is important and of value to them.
