Update: 1) I cannot believe I misspelled bass. 2) Husband bought earplugs from gift shop. (They were zero help.) 3) I put my headphones on and that was manageable but I had to lay on my back like sleeping in a coffin and I’m a side sleeper, so miserable. 4) Music stopped at 5am. 5) Slept 3 hrs 11 mins per my Oura ring. 6) Leaving for the festivities in less than an hour. 7) I called and begged to be moved to another room and they said, “We are completely booked for the next 2 days.” I cannot stop laughing I am delirious.
We are in Miami for the F1 race and were upgraded to an incredible hotel suite. We decided to turn in early because tomorrow is a long day. You guys, our free upgraded room overlooks the outdoor nightclub. Our room is the loudest place on earth right now. The thumping base is literally shaking the windows. We called front desk to ask when the music ends (yes, we are that old.)
They said tonight’s show doesn’t start for another hour.

@jaybronious I guess I have to buy some crap streaming for Royals game… that’s not how I watch sports. I am a master of flipping. I can watch at least 3 games and an old movie at the same time.
New Kansas State men’s basketball coach Casey Alexander will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Friday’s Big 12 baseball opener with Arizona State, per release.
Great visit to the oncologist. Still winning.
I am blessed. Plus, my oncologist’s office is less than a mile from KC Joe’s BBQ.
A fatalist sees cancer, but I believe the Lord wanted more BBQ in my life.
The Orioles announced today that they will allow fans to enter their ballpark 2.5 hours before first pitch. That will allow them to watch Baltimore take batting practice.
The Nationals should do this too.
Fans should be able to watch their favorite players take BP. Kids should be able to try to get balls hit by James Wood and Dylan Crews. It enhances engagement, access, and interest. It would also cut down on lines to get into the game right before it starts. It might even also make the team more money based on opening concessions earlier.
@NikRule@UrbanEdgeTv@NAIA@TheHeartConf By far the most aggressive effort in the National office's history. 111 broadcasts in a 48-hour period. Near flawless execution by our members, who produced 80% of them.
Small college athletics is evolving fast.
In less than 12 months, the platform ecosystem built by @UrbanEdgeTv and Visaic has streamed 6,000+ events for the @NAIA and partner conferences like @TheHeartConf.
That level of scale is incredible — and it's free for fans.
More games. More exposure. More value for everyone.
