Yeah... as someone who has actually read the Bible, and a bunch of other faiths' Holy Books, I can state without a shred of doubt that religions wholesale claim that the Creator does not make mistakes in His creation (aka, when He creates a person, that is who they are supposed to be, period.).

Actually you devil, What really is blasphemous and evil is pretending to be a woman when God created you as a man. You can celebrate mental illness if you want. Stocking Mill Coffee won’t be. We aren’t on the same side.

It is amazing the amount of special forces guys, seals, EOD, rangers, pilots, etc on here. I was a tank mechanic. I feel like I should have done more…lol

A criminal ran from the police in Garland, TX yesterday and crashed his vehicle in the process. He then attempted to carjack the vehicle shown here and the driver, with his family in the car, told them to run whilst he handled the armed criminal. Handle him he did. The driver pulled his concealed carry gun and shot the armed would be carjacker - killing him on the side of the road 🇺🇸 Police have stated they don't expect the father to face any criminal charges. The most effective portion of my ministry has been to remind Vets that "You do not fight the darkness alone!" Just as we always had someone on the battlefield overseas, we also have a battle buddy now. It can be hard to see them when life is at its darkest, but they are there... fighting just like you are. Keep your head on a swivel, and remember: "WE OWN THE NIGHT!"

Veteran isolation is brutal and real as hell. This morning I posted about sitting on my porch, sick, alone with my dog, friends completely gone, family living a quarter mile away but never around. No calls. No check-ins. Just silence. I’ve heard the exact same story from way too many combat vets. They come home from war, try to reintegrate, and slowly watch their world shrink: - Friends ghost you because “you’re different now.” - Family stops reaching out when the conversations get heavy. - You stop answering texts so you don’t burden anyone. - You sit in the house for days, fighting your own head, telling yourself you’re supposed to be strong enough to handle it alone. The VA, the churches, the “support” groups, most of them don’t fix the loneliness. They hand you pills or a pat on the back and send you back into the same empty house. So you fight alone. Heal alone. Survive alone. If you’re a veteran reading this and you’re feeling it right now. You’re not weak, you’re not broken, and you’re not the only one. What’s one way isolation has hit you hardest since getting out?

I didn’t go to ranger school. I guess that makes me bad at my job of….(checks notes) forward damage control surgery? I’m going to have to figure out how to break this to my team. They’ll be devastated.

Last night, I took our six year old to the EOD Memorial Ball. Someone gave him a coin, and he was super excited showing everyone…and then he accidentally dropped it…next to a table of General Officers. They all pulled out coins and threw them down. And then, they told him to keep their coins. But it gets better. Super excited, he shows off all his coins to one of my friends. And then a voice behind us says: “That’s a cool coin collection you got there. You should have one of mine.” And it’s the Acting Secretary of the Navy, @SECNAV. Pretty sure this kid now has more coins than me.

I must get one of these.
