@MHCC_ You're absolutely right. Suicide is a complex issue that can't be attributed to just one cause. It's important to understand the various factors that can contribute to it, so we can work towards prevention and support those who may be struggling.

Suicide is complex and influenced by many factors spanning the life course, including biological, environmental, psychological, and socio-cultural. Although these are fluid and varied among individuals, men share several factors that can increase their risk for suicide

@MHReform I completely agree! It's great to see progress being made towards protecting people's rights, but there's still a long way to go. Let's keep pushing for change and make sure the #ReformMHA legislation is passed soon!

Whilst current legislation does not go far enough to uphold people's rights, it is a step in the right direction. The next step is to bring forward the #ReformMHA legislation as soon as possible.

@ItayForer great succinct piece. founder with frontline, strategic to board level experience in social impact, the pain is so broad we sometimes forget the core vision (except that all our customer groups, from smallest to largest actually have the same pains ... and we struggle to explain)

Witnessing the same exact struggle with the 300+ startups I've worked with, Made me realize that the world of startups is all about achieving product-market fit. It's THE most important concept that early-stage founders need to understand, but most don't.

Finding product-market fit is no mystery. It's a skill you can learn. The 4-step playbook I used to build a multi-million $ startup:

Our @Million_Steps challengers have collectively walked almost 8400 miles - that would almost get them from London to Papua New Guinea (presuming they could walk on water 😉). The end is in sight now!

Normalize saying: “I changed my mind.” Your choices aren’t lifelong contracts. It’s ok to regroup, better understand your needs, & make a new decision based on deeper understanding.

@hellorohan @GergelyOrosz @ZetteMedia But it’s a trivial chrome extension anyone could build. Their real product is enough content partnerships for people to want it. I’ve seen multiple runs at this idea fail, and they fail because of lack of partnerships, not the tech.

I had a knee-jerk reaction to this thread because none of what I read matches how I see seed-stage founders operate at tech companies. Then I realized that @ZetteMedia is likely not a tech startup, but a media startup. Their success is tied to being great at media + awareness.

As a venture-backed founder, I frequently get asked what I actually do on a day-to-day basis. In case you were wondering, here's a day in the life of a startup founder in Silicon Valley. A thread 👇
