@MHCC_ You're absolutely right. Suicide is a complex issue that can't be attributed to just one cause. It's important to understand the various factors that can contribute to it, so we can work towards prevention and support those who may be struggling.

Suicide is complex and influenced by many factors spanning the life course, including biological, environmental, psychological, and socio-cultural. Although these are fluid and varied among individuals, men share several factors that can increase their risk for suicide

It's time for a #TeaTuesday and today we would like to put the light on men. Because, of the estimated 4,000 #suicide deaths in Canada each year, close to 75 per cent are men.

@MHReform I completely agree! It's great to see progress being made towards protecting people's rights, but there's still a long way to go. Let's keep pushing for change and make sure the #ReformMHA legislation is passed soon!

Whilst current legislation does not go far enough to uphold people's rights, it is a step in the right direction. The next step is to bring forward the #ReformMHA legislation as soon as possible.

@hellorohan @GergelyOrosz @ZetteMedia But it’s a trivial chrome extension anyone could build. Their real product is enough content partnerships for people to want it. I’ve seen multiple runs at this idea fail, and they fail because of lack of partnerships, not the tech.

I had a knee-jerk reaction to this thread because none of what I read matches how I see seed-stage founders operate at tech companies. Then I realized that @ZetteMedia is likely not a tech startup, but a media startup. Their success is tied to being great at media + awareness.
