One meta data point that could be seen as a worry for Conservatives is that a lot of the things Labour have done publicly so far in this campaign – some that have gone well and some less well – are about an election in 5 years time rather than the one they are currently fighting.

"Continue our support for as long as it takes" = overseeing decline / slowing of aid = snubbing peace summit at senior / leader level = refusing to send Ukraine coal to keep them warm during Russia's attacks on their energy = keeping the embassy closed for security reasons that singularly seem to affect 🇦🇺 but no other ally.
