And also in English more Pro Iran and Pro Hezbollah than in Arabic. What is funny is when we who live the reality of falling rockets say anything against Iran and Hezbollah, we get the most vile responses from non middle Easterners who haven’t lived in this region and certainly dont know what we know.

@NTarnopolsky And that Lebanon is Not included. Included or not included? We don’t know. As of now it seems that it is Not included.

So if you're keeping score at home, the ceasefire includes Lebanon but also doesn't include Lebanon, America has agreed to all of Iran's demands and Iran has agreed to all of America's demands, America will recognize Iran's right to enrichment and also insist on zero enrichment, Hormuz is completely open but also Hormuz is subject to unclear limitations... There are a lot of confident predictions about a deal that is still unclear and unfinished Both sides are scrambling to portray this as a war-ending victory when there's a decent chance that the war hasn't even ended

🚨🇮🇱 Four hours after the ceasefire announcement, Netanyahu's office issues a statement in English only, welcoming the pause on Iran but explicitly stating "the two-week ceasefire does not include Lebanon." Pakistan's PM Sharif announced the ceasefire was "everywhere including Lebanon." Netanyahu waited four hours and then contradicted him. This tells you everything. The Iran war might be pausing, but Israel has no intention of stopping its expansion into southern Lebanon. Netanyahu already ordered the security zone expanded, his defense minister claimed 10% of the country permanently, and his finance minister said Israel's border should be the Litani River. Israel wants to keep bombing Lebanon while the world celebrates peace. And they released the statement only in English, which suggests it was aimed at Washington, or more specifically Trump, and the international press, not Israelis. The war with Iran may be on pause, but Israel's war for regional hegemony is just getting started.

🚨🇮🇱🇱🇧 BREAKING: Netanyahu says Israel will NOT include Lebanon in the two-week ceasefire. Hours ago senior Israeli security officials confirmed to Ynet that it was included. Either Netanyahu just overruled his own security establishment or the terms are already unraveling before the first night is over. Pakistan and Iran both stated Lebanon is included... But who will force Hezbollah not to regroup and not to rearm? We are seeing how weak the Lebanese government is. This means that Israel will keep targeting Hezbollah despite any agreed on ceasefire with Iran. The only difference in this whole situation today is that the non Shiite Lebanese people have fed up with Hezbollah but this will unlikely change the situation.

For the United States, victory in this war has not yet been achieved - it will come by translating the US armed forces’ impressive operational success into firm, lasting strategic accomplishments, on issues from #Iran’s nuclear ambitions to the resumption of free, open, unfettered transit through the Strait of Hormuz. That will require maintaining a credible threat of a return to armed conflict and a diplomacy that matches the skill and creativity of our military. For #Israel, participating side by side with the US in a month-plus campaign to degrade all aspects of Iran’s power projection capabilities is its own victory. While ensuring its equities in a US-Iran negotiation, its goal now should be to translate the de facto cooperation it had with Gulf states throughout this war into both a deeper military partnership and a more open political arrangement. And let’s not forget #Lebanon, where a ceasefire should not allow #Hezbollah to regroup, redeploy and rearm, in the process eroding the sovereignty of the state. With Hezbollah much weaker today than it was before it triggered this round of fighting and with Israel more deeply dug in throughout the South than before the war, there is a new, more propitious baseline from which Jerusalem and Beirut can update/revise their previous ceasefire accord for the benefit of both countries, with an eye toward a broader political agreement. Here, @POTUS’ Board of Peace may even play a helpful role.

For those still stuck in the "Bibi controls Trump" narrative, I think you just got the reality straight in your face - Trump signed a ceasefire agreement despite Bibi's wishes, and to add to it, Trump included Lebanon (#Hezbollah) in the ceasefire agreement, stopping Bibi from moving ahead there as well. This is not what Netanyahu wanted. At all. #Iran

As I wrote last week, control over the Strait of Hormuz will determine who wins the war. Iran’s ceasefire statement says passage will only be possible “in coordination” with the Iranian military. Trump’s ceasefire statement says Iran has agreed to a “complete, immediate and safe opening” of the Strait. Two completely different things. Until vessels resume crossing the Strait without paying a fee to Tehran, it’s a strategic victory for the Islamic Republic. wsj.com/world/middle-e…

Let's also not lose sight of what this means for Netanyahu. Trump ploughed ahead with a cease-fire which Netanyahu can't be happy about to say least. And Netanyahu dutifully agreed to the cease-fire because he can't afford to alienate Trump in an election year.

🚨🚨🚨Prime Minister of Pakistan Sharif: Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.
Barak Ravid@BarakRavid

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷Progress has been made in the past 24 hours in the negotiations between the U.S. & Iran, though reaching a ceasefire deal by President Trump's 8pm deadline still looks like a long shot, four sources tell @MarcACaputo & me. Read out story on @axios axios.com/2026/04/07/ira…

Is this the stupidest, most polarised day on X yet? I can’t keep up with Americans screeching at Europeans, Europeans yelling at Americans, Australians being mental in all directions about alleged war crimes, Iranians pleading to be bombed… exhausting.

@MimiDaher1 @MilesCholmondl1 @piersmorgan @lrozen He says something and means something else? Are you kidding? He's the fucking president of the US, if he can't be coherent and say what he actually means then he has no business being in power. Also, you are 100% making excuses.
