@gmk_julie Small circulation press would talk about these things, I had some older relatives that used to subscribe to this stuff and get it in the mail.

My parents are both gone but I would love to ask them how they knew. My mom was a Prussian refugee and my dad was a Park Ranger, neither were involved politically, we didn't subscribe to any newspapers and we didn't even own a TV. But somehow they just knew. When I came home from school talking about Martin Luther King Jr and Caesar Chavez they told me both those men were corrupt womanizers and not to listen to anything my teachers said about them. Any body else out there have that experience? Did my mom's suffering under Hitler give her special insight into charismatic leaders or did my parents just have crazy discernment?

The UK House of Lords has just legalised abortion up to birth. Women can now end the life of their unborn baby at any stage, for any reason, without legal consequences. A truly dark day for Britain.

@miss_sazz @doctor_rahmeh There were two cases in Britain where women lied about their gestation to get pills in the post. One of those was around 32 weeks. It happens so that’s why they are trying to square this circle by banning pills through the post

@doctor_rahmeh I don’t think anyone having to abort past 6 months is doing it by choice. It’s usually for a medical reason.

@ianbremmer The US can open Hormuz next week by simply evacuating all US bases in the Middle East, ending all military and economic aid to Israel, and lifting sanctions on Iran. The entire world wins except Israel's land thieving regime.

You're seeing a lot of Democrats and moderate Republicans attempt to shift the goalposts on the SAVE America Act by emphasizing that they support "showing a valid ID" to vote. But, it’s widely known that liberal states, such as Washington and Oregon, issue driver’s licenses to anyone, including illegals and other non-citizens. Any measure that doesn't include proving citizenship is completely meaningless.

Democrats: “lol if we ever come to power again we are going to flood the country with another 100 million illegals and throw you all in prison.” Senate GOP: “Ermmm guys… We can’t break with our precious norms and procedures and pass voter ID…”

Democratic Illinois Governor JB Pritzker speaks about a Democratic "Project 2029" in which members of the current Trump administration, along with federal agents, will be criminally and civilly prosecuted. "Whatever it is that we can do. It may be that you cannot criminally prosecute somebody, but you can go after them civilly." Follow: @AFpost

You wanna rip the GOP apart right to its core and prevent a single America First voter from participating in the midterms? Indict Joe Kent and Tucker Carlson. See how that works out.

Denying Liam Ramos and his family asylum is not only cruel, it’s political retribution. This decision should be overturned. Liam’s family came to this country in search of a better life. That’s the American Dream - something the Trump Administration seems to have forgotten. cbsnews.com/minnesota/news…

He’s not. He’s in a county with Big Ag giants, multigenerational citrus growers. It’s reality that there is a big Dreamer population where the kids who were brought here by their parents are now in their 30s/40s with careers, families and homes, who have never been afoul of the law. Big diff from Tren di Aragua gangsters.

Reporting says they arrived in the U.S. sometime in 2024 -- anyone have a date? Must make asylum claim within 1 year of arrival. Was the claim made timely? Ecuador isn't Nicaragua or Honduras -- it's closer to Costa Rica in terms of being "dangerous." No Central American country is danger-free. There is nothing in the public records that suggests they are anything other than economic migrants. Sorry -- go back to Ecuador and apply for a visa.

It's easy to say deport them all when you're behind a keyboard and have no idea how hard some of these people work. I had many working for me in my NJ concrete business. I paid them according to what they were worth which was far more than most of my American employees. We both paid into there SS and Medicare but they were never able to collect it. That's a dirty little secret the Feds hide from the public.

The war is going better than anyone could have hoped. Beyond military complete dominance: the GCC are finally going to have to put up or shut up Qatar just had 15% of their LNG capacity destroyed. ANY other country would take this as causus belli…Qatar now has a choice (1/2)
Philippe Lemoine@phl43

Once again, Pape-style arguments to the effect that Iran keeps becoming stronger as it's getting wrecked are idiotic, but it doesn't follow that the war is going well for the US, which it obviously isn't, because war isn't just about blowing shit up and killing people.
