In our continued commitment to strengthening RHIF’s governance, leadership, and organizational development, we conducted a one-day capacity-building workshop on 28th November 2025, facilitated by MoFund Africa who equipped our team with essential tools and resources to enhance strategic decision-making, coordination, and overall institutional performance. This workshop marked an important step forward in strengthening RHIF’s internal systems, improving leadership capacity, and positioning the organization to deliver stronger, more coordinated responses to the sickle cell burden in Uganda. A key highlight of the day was the official unveiling of the new Scientific Board, a highly significant milestone for RHIF. This board will provide technical and scientific guidance to our sickle cell program, ensuring that our interventions are evidence-based, clinically sound, and aligned with best practices. Thank you Mavis Agnes kisakye and Hemophilia Foundation of Uganda for being part of this important discussion.
