Some sad news - my dear father, Mark Gerson, died last night, peacefully at home, aged 104. Here he is on VE day last year. He leaves a wonderful photographic collection of famous authors many held by the @NPGLondon . He also leaves many happy memories ♥️

It’s definitely the hardest thing you’ll ever do and need to find a support group in your area or a neighbor to call on when needed. Especially when your own care is important. I watched my father and brother go thru the caregiving 10 years for each of their spouse and would never ask neighbors for help. Finally paid for occasional daycare to get a break for their own appointments. Ask for help locally.

Alzheimer’s caregiving is exhausting, overwhelming, and extremely lonely. My world consists of taking care of my 89 year old mom 24/7 by myself. I am happy that I can take care of my mom, but I’m always sad, depressed, and isolated. I had surgery on March 19th, and now my incision has reopened because I haven’t been able to take care of myself. All you caregivers are not alone. We are in this together.

I was scheduled for multiple media interviews today, but I canceled all of them. Yesterday, after my interviews I felt drained and realize I need time to recover. I’ve been dealing with headaches, dizziness and lightheadedness and was informed by a doctor that I do have a concussion. Typically I try to work as hard as possible to bring coverage to a story, but this has also been a difficult subject for me to have to rewatch and recount. I appreciate every single media outlet who has reached out to cover this (Fox News, Daily Wire, Glenn Beck, NYPost, BlazeTV, etc.) and apologize for cancelling. Thank you as well to every single person who has reached out and offered support. I am so grateful and feel extremely thankful to each and every one of you. Taking some time to recover.

I don't ask for anything from anyone most times. I make exceptions for prayer. Prayer works and God guides the hands of our doctors and nurses and treatments. Please , those who pray, pray for my wife. Tammy. She was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon and Liver cancer. Ty to anone that may add her. Prayer is strong in mass.

@mickitiki Yes please, and adjust the tax brackets. We’re retired at low end of 22% bracket, got the SS prorated deduction, still owed $10,000.

My husband and I are retired seniors. We get social security and rent out farm land for our income. He picked up extra work running his dozer and we got no return on our taxes but had to pay $879.00 in taxes. Every extra dollar we make the government is sure to get their paid out. @POTUS Income Tax, capital gain tax is highway robbery. Stop the steal. Abolish the IRS.

@SpringSteps I hope you get some comfort soon. The last time I had that kind of ear pain, my doctor’s office (APRN) wouldn’t help, said it was a virus and would heal on its own. I lost some hearing.

Prayers needed. ❤️ I have a double ear infection. My ears are swollen, lymph nodes are huge, and I’m in tremendous pain. I’ve been running a fever all day with cold chills. My doctor can’t see me until next week, so I’ll be seen by the nurse practitioner tomorrow. The last time this happened, it turned into an infection in my mastoid air cells, and I ended up losing some hearing. My shoulder is still hurting day and night, even though I’m continuing physical therapy. I had surgery on December 9, and my shoulders are still not even. The one I had surgery on sits more forward and looks larger. I have an upcoming appointment, God willing, but if my orthopedic surgeon doesn’t listen to me this time, I will be seeking a second opinion. Please pray the Lord will strengthen me. I’m under significant stress in my life which could be the reason I’m so sick rn.
