I don't try to take clients who have OCD. But if someone is actively getting psychological help from a professional, I have been open to address the religious angle. For them, I have a document of ahadith on Tahara that your imam won't tell you. It has ahadith that show how relaxed the rules on tahara are and OCD patients find much relief in it.

Reported by Ibn Sa'd and Ibn Kathir, the Holy Prophet salalahu alaihi wa Alihi wasalam described Habib Ibn Zayd's matrydom as though He was watching or had personally witnessed it. Verifying the verse in the Quran that states that He watches everyone, even if they r even far away
Motivation with Faith@MWFaithOfficial

The Steadfastness of ʿHabib ibn Zayd (RA): A Message Delivered in the Shadow of Death; Musaylimah the Liar wrote a letter to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH claiming prophethood and proposing a false “division” of authority, saying: “If you agree, you remain a Prophet during your lifetime, and after your passing I become a Prophet. Or let us divide Arabia half for you, half for me.” (May Allah protect us from such falsehood) The Messenger of Allah PBUH replied with absolute clarity and truth: “From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to Musaylimah the Liar. Peace be upon those who follow guidance. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah; He grants it to whom He wills among His servants. And the successful end is for the righteous. You are a liar.” When the letter was written, the Prophet PBUH asked: “Who will deliver this letter to that liar?” It was a dangerous mission. Musaylimah had power, guards, and authority around him yet a noble Companion stepped forward without hesitation. A humble man, ʿHabib ibn Zayd (RA), a father of many children and a simple date seller, immediately stood up and said: “Do not assign this task to anyone else. I will go.” When others saw his urgency, they advised him to be cautious, but he replied with sincerity: “If another task replaces this one while I am still waiting, what will I do? I must go quickly.” The Prophet PBUH provided him with provisions and support and said: “Go firmly and stand your ground before that liar.” With full trust in Allah and His Messenger PBUH, he departed like a determined warrior. When he reached Musaylimah’s court, he planted his spear firmly and stood with dignity. Musaylimah asked: “Who are you?” He replied firmly: “Have you not recognized me? I am a servant of the Messenger of Allah PBUH. Our faces bear witness to our belonging to him.” Musaylimah asked: “Why have you come?” He replied: “I have come with the answer to your letter.” When Musaylimah’s letter was read aloud and the word “liar” was mentioned, rage filled the court. He threatened him, surrounded by guards and weapons, saying: “Your Prophet called me a liar, what do you say?” ʿHabib ibn Zayd replied calmly: “There is no opinion here. If my Prophet PBUH calls someone a liar, then he is a liar. Even if you pour all the waters of the oceans over your claim, it cannot wash away your falsehood.” Musaylimah tried to intimidate him, saying: “Look around you are surrounded by my soldiers, weapons, and power.” He replied with unwavering faith: “I have children, some still nursing and some not yet walking. When I left with the message of the Messenger of Allah PBUH, I did not look back at them. Why should I fear your soldiers? We are the companions of Muhammad PBUH we do not fear death.” In rage, Musaylimah ordered that his arm be cut off. Even after losing his limb, he remained steadfast. When asked again to reconsider, he replied: “You are foolish to test us. We have already been tested in Badr and Uhud. My belief remains exactly what my Prophet PBUH said.” He was tortured further, yet his faith did not shake. Finally, before his martyrdom, he said: “Do what you wish. We are those who, after every prayer, ask Allah for martyrdom.” Then he was martyred at the hands of Musaylimah the Liar. When the news reached Madinah, the Prophet PBUH was deeply moved and said: “Indeed, my Habib has been martyred, and Allah has opened for him the gates of Paradise.” A life of truth, loyalty, and sacrifice sealed with eternal honor in the sight of Allah. Muhammad PBUH is everything to us this world is nothing compared to loyalty to him.

@dmontetheno1 Sayyiduna ‘Umar has always been my favourite Although i know for a fact that he’ll probably beat me if i sit with him So i’ll go for the safest option and say Sayyiduna ‘Anas bin Maalik because you can just ask him to describe Rasool ﷺ and he’ll forget you exist

Habib Ahmad Mashur al-Haddad would not enter Madinah unless he saw the Prophet ﷺ in a dream giving him permission to enter the city and he would not exit Madinah unless he was given permission to exit until one year he saw the Prophet ﷺ in a dream who said, "My dear child, we give you permission to enter and exit Madinah whenever you wish!" This man is one of my greatest role models. Over 300,000 people accepted Islam with Habib Ahmad Mashur al-Haddad through his character, piety, and gatherings Habib spread Islam in some of the remotest parts of the world. He learnt to speak fluent Swahili to spread Da'wah. Habib Ahmad would sit outside of his house and whenever a non Muslim would walk by, he would lovingly Invite them inside for tea and speak to them with love and compassion. They wouldn't complete the cup except they said, "La ilaha ila Allah Muhammad Rasulallah ﷺ!" He never missed Tahajjud. Even when he got ill, he did not close the door on anyone. His home was open 7 days a week for all people. His life is the perfect embodiment of the one ﷺ who was born in Rabi'. May Allah grant him the highest abodes of Jannah.

The holy Prophet ﷺ came out of his house 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬. He ﷺ said: “Do you know what these books are?” The Ṣaḥāba said: “No, O Allāh’s Messenger. Please tell us about these books.” The holy Prophet ﷺ pointed at the book in his right hand and said: “This is the Book from Almighty Allāh. It contains the names of the inmates of Paradise and their father’s names and the names of their clans. The total number of the inmates of Paradise is given at the end of this book.” Then the noble Prophet ﷺ pointed at the other book in his left hand and said: “This is a Book from Allāh, the Creator of the worlds. It contains the names of the inmates of Hell and their father’s names and the names of their tribes. The total number of inmates of the Hell is given at the end of the text. This number will never change, neither addition nor deletion.” ► Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ, Vol. 1, Pg. 61, Graded Ṣaḥīḥ ► Jāmiʾ at-Tirmidhī, Ḥadīth 2141 This Narration is also available in many Ḥadīth books such as: ► Musnad Aḥmad ► Muʾjam al-Ṭabarānī Points which can be derived from the Ḥadīth: 1. The Prophet ﷺ was informed by Allāh of the destiny of all the people from the time of Nabī Ādam (ʿalayhis-salām) until Qiyāmah. 2. The Prophet ﷺ knew how many will enter Jannah and how many will enter Jahannam. 3. The Prophet ﷺ knew the names of the people of the past, present and future and recognises their fathers as well. 4. The Prophet ﷺ knew even the clan and the tribe of a person of past, present and future and which they belonged to. 5. Every clan or tribe from the time of Sayyidunā Ādam (ʿalayhis-salām) until Qiyāmah is known to the Prophet ﷺ. 6. The Beloved Prophet ﷺ knew the state of īmān (faith) of every person at his/her last breath. 7. The Beloved Prophet ﷺ knew the final abode of every single person. 8. Thus, the Prophet ﷺ also knew the Muslims who will be punished for sometime before entering their final abode (Jannah). 9. Thus, the Beloved Prophet ﷺ also knew those Muslims who will be receiving his Shafāʿat (intercession) after the punishment. 10. Neither Jannah and its inmates nor Jahannam and its inmates are hidden from the blessed sight and knowledge of the the Beloved Prophet ﷺ bestowed to him by Allāh. 11. This shows us the glimpse of the blessed ʿIlm al-Ghayb (Knowledge of the Unseen) that Allāh bestowed to the Beloved Prophet ﷺ.

Both Barelvis and Deobandis have blunders. Many Barelvis believe that the Prophet ﷺ was granted knowledge of when the Hour will occur, which is blasphemy (kufr), as said by al-Zajjāj al-Ḥanbalī. Some Deobandis believed that it is possible for Allāh ﷻ to lie. والعياذ بالله.

Ghawth al-Aʿẓam Shaykh ʿAbdul Qādir al-Jīlānī on the Nūr of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ in the opening of his book Sirr al-Asrār (Secret of Secrets): “When Allāh created the rūḥ (soul) of Sayyidunā Muḥammad ﷺ, He created it first from the light of His Jamāl (Beauty) — like what Allāh stated in the Ḥadīth al-Qudsī: ‘I created Muḥammad ﷺ first from the light of My Wajh (Mercy).’ Also, like what the Holy Prophet ﷺ said: ‘The first thing that Allāh created is my rūḥ (soul).’ ‘The first thing that Allāh created is my nūr (light).’ ‘The first thing that Allāh created is the qalam (pen).’ ‘The first thing that Allāh created is the ʿaql (intellect).’ [Sunan Abī Dāwūd] The purpose behind these different expressions is one and the same: al-Ḥaqīqah al-Muḥammadiyyah (The Muḥammadan Reality). However, he ﷺ is called nūr because he is pure from the darkness of majesty (ẓulumāt al-jalāl) — as Allāh says: “Qad jāʾakum min Allāhi nūrun wa-kitābun mubīn” — “There has certainly come to you from Allāh a Light and a clear Book.” [Holy Qurʾān, al-Māʾidah: 15] He is called ʿaql, because he ﷺ possesses comprehensive knowledge. He is called qalam, because he ﷺ is the cause of the transfer of knowledge — just as a pen is a means of conveying knowledge through writing. Thus, al-Rūḥ al-Muḥammadiyyah (the Muḥammadan Spirit) is the quintessence of all existence, the first of creation, and its origin — as the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “I am from Allāh, and the believers are from me.” [Al-Daylamī in al-Firdaws] So Allāh created all souls from him ﷺ in the realm of al-Lāhūt (the Divine Realm), in the most perfect form. It is the name for the totality of mankind in that primordial realm of souls (ʿālam al-arwāḥ). He ﷺ is the origin and homeland of all beings. After four thousand years passed upon that rūḥ, Allāh created the ʿArsh (Throne) from the light of Muḥammad ﷺ himself, and from it the rest of creation. Then the souls were sent down to the lowest level of creation — that is, to bodies — just as Allāh says: “Thumma raddadnāhu asfala sāfilīn” — “Then We returned him to the lowest of the low.” [Sūrah at-Tīn: 5] That is, He sent them from ʿālam al-Lāhūt to ʿālam al-Jabarūt (the Realm of Dominion).
