Sometimes the greatest acts of worship are hidden in simple kindness: a meal shared with your mother or father, a smile that warms their hearts, a moment that outweighs many journeys. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said that smiling in the face of your brother is charity, so just imagine the reward of bringing a smile to your parent’s face.

@chevronmarked Bhai please recheck your message. Xray was invented in 1895 which corresponds to 1312 Hijri. Based on Google search x ray came to Saudi in 1933. "To clarify I'm not questioning the incident for He ﷺ is the Divine cure for all problems and ailments" But x ray or year is wrong

In the year 1309, whilst performing Hajj, Mufti Ahmad yaar Khan slipped and broke his wrist bone in Madinah Munawwarah. When the pain became unbearable, he kissed his wrist and said: “O pain of Madinah! Stay in my heart, for I have received you in the court of the Beloved ﷺ!”

And when the Holy Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madīnah, the Abyssinians began playing with their spears, rejoicing at his arrival. If his arrival in al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah was celebrated with this joy, then his ﷺ birth (Mawlid), his arrival into this world is, without doubt, an even greater cause for celebration. Some live in al-Madīnah, next to the Prophet ﷺ, yet are furthest from him ﷺ. Others live thousands of kilometres away, yet are nearest to him ﷺ.

Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm bin Adham said: “A person has not been true to Allāh, the Mighty and Sublime, if he loves recognition (fame).” [Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal, Al-Zuhd, 2240] Allāhumma aḥyinī mā kānat al-ḥayātu khayran lī, wa tawaffanī idhā kānat al-wafātu khayran lī.

A Frankish woman once came weeping to Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi after her baby daughter had been kidnapped during the Crusades. The Frankish princes themselves told her: “Go to Salahuddin. He will help you.” Think about that for a moment. Even his enemies trusted his mercy. Saladin ordered the entire camp searched and refused to rest until the child was found. When the baby was finally brought back, the mother collapsed to the ground in tears of joy. The Muslim couple who had taken the child pleaded to keep her, having already lost their own child in war. But Saladin returned the baby to her mother and personally compensated the couple from his own wealth. He followed the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ): “Whoever separates a mother from her child, God will separate them from their loved ones on the Day of Resurrection.” [📚Al-Nawadir al-Sultaniyya ]

Before colonial educational reforms, vast networks of madrasas and scholarly dars circles existed across the Indian subcontinent, teaching subjects ranging from grammar and logic to mathematics and astronomy. Among the foremost centres of learning and practice were the Farangī Maḥall in Lucknow, the Madrasa Raḥīmiyyah, and the school of Mullā Faḍl Imām Khairābādī in Delhi. This short write-up briefly explores how colonial policy sought not merely to govern land, but to reshape intellectual identity itself. Read the full paper on our website: tinyurl.com/colonial-india
