Decentralisation is the foundation of digital freedom, reducing concentrated power while giving people real ownership over their systems, data, and money. From infrastructure that resists capture to distributed models of coordination, ownership, and exchange, the Decentralised Zone at Parallel Society is about building systems that don’t rely on permission or trust in intermediaries. The programme will be shaped collaboratively with our partners: @FundingCommons, @psy_dao, dEdu, and @SpritzChat. Interested in building decentralised infrastructure or tools? Privacy is necessary for a free society. The Privacy Zone at Parallel Society will explore how to build it into the core networked experience, beyond coercion and censorship. Expect everything from zk-comms demos to threat modelling workshops. As a bottom-up conference, the Privacy Zone schedule will be co-curated by a coalition of @MoneroKon, @Nym, @winprivacy, @zano_project, @DarkFiSquad, @Haven_Hn_, and @ShutterNetwork.
