@Brett_Pats people legit think i’m crazy for saying he’s arguably the best route runner in the class. the issue is those same people haven’t watched him and stare at YPRR stats without context that shows he was misutilized last year

with rice and saka bricks out of my system i would say this was probably the best result, after a series of scamming wins there is always an inevitable L and I am glad it came in the worst of the 4 comps we were in.. prem L, fa cup ko or ucl ko would have hurt a lot more

Arsenal gonna win the league but they really did waste a summer. They needed someone to take the reigns from Saka and ended up with 200m of 6/10 at best attackers.

@EthanFromOnline Saka’s physical decline has been apparent for over a year and there was never any thought to move him inside and it was always clear Nelli wasn’t a pure wide winger in the way he’s been used.

@EthanFromOnline He 100% wanted Madueke and Havertz, there’s no debating that and 0 players are signed without him signing off on them. He’s also platformed the likes of Saka and Martinelli terribly. This is Arteta’s team and Arteta’s attack.

They're so lucky to have Arteta man. This selection of attackers would be winning sweet fuck all without him, let alone in the hunt for everything.

Your takeaway from watching this shouldn’t be that the sport has gotten worst, it should be that there’s significantly less space in midfield and behind defensive lines now.
