Maths teachers/HoDs. Student achieving U/3s at Higher at this point in year 11. Have been since Easter. Communication to parents has been consistent and clear that foundation may be the option. Did a foundation test and got a 2/3 on paper. Keep at higher or move to foundation?
I’m moving to a school next year that teaches mixed ability KS3 (Maths). I’ve never taught mixed ability before can anyone give any tips advice or point me in the direction of any literature that might be helpful?

@SparxMaths Hi, I’ve heard of some people uploading QLAs onto sparx for it to generate personalised task but I don’t think we have this feature on our subscription. Is that something we can access?

@DrFrostMaths morning, it feels like the selection of skills we can use when setting homework is a lot more limited than last year. We might have changed some settings. I’ve attached a picture of pie charts for reference. We can only set exam questions but not any sub skills

@ConfusedTim I agree they’re great quality resources and the steps are broken down a lot more than the premium resources. PDF copies would be great though. We can’t afford those unfortunately.
