@Whitehughes And also aware that this wasn't the original question 😂 intuitively I think if we're OK using the phrase "one repeated root" then "one solution" with or without the word "repeated" is OK...

@Whitehughes But I'm still not sure we're right, and also I've now decided I don't think it matters too much (at GCSE) whether you use (one) repeated or two equal as long as you get across the general idea...

@Whitehughes Both. Though, sort of. I say “one solution” and “repeated root”, but not “repeated solution”… I don’t know why

@1stclassmaths I'm not sure if/how fixable that is, due to how phones open files/links etc! Should work fine on desktop.

@MissNorledge Looks good but on my phone it doesn’t take me to the page as described, just the paper sadly. 🙁 also if you link to the paper directly from emporium we don’t have mathsgenie ads :)

@Mildertduck Just looked, the ExamQ resource is fantastic and I wasn't aware it existed until now! Mine has a search rather than a filter (and hoping to improve the search so you can look for e.g. for ratio problems solving) - so I suppose that is the difference...

I imagine there’s reservations about building a new network but have to start somewhere. 33 followers (which happens to be root 1089 😊) maths edu-Twitter migration has begun…

UPDATE: Printable circles and pie chart templates. Thanks to @shakeshaftc1 for the suggestion to add the new parts/dashes feature. Just tested it out by making a really quick measuring circles completion table 😉 mathsbot.com/printables/pie…

@MrTaylorMaths2 Thought it tested reasoning really well and would stretch gr9 students - plenty to get teeth into but fairly straightforward processing.

Really enjoyed thinking through this question. I think I did it in 4 steps. Exterior angles of regular polygon Pythagoras Multiplying surds (to find area) of square and triangle) Simplify and factorise
