Seeing a lot of conspiracy theorists on this site suspicious that NJ's turnout was so much higher than 2021. Looks like turnout was ~49%. That's the highest percentage in 20 years, but far from unprecedented, and not a record. It's not a bad thing that people vote.

@D_Radiance Can be expanded to xennials - those of us born in the late 70’s and 1980 are very different from older Gen X. I think the line is drawn at people who were teenagers under Reagan versus those of us who were teenagers in the 90’s.

For the past 6 months, I've focused on my health. I lost almost 30 pounds. I track my calories, burn 600 calories a day, drink water, etc. I've reversed 3 years of trauma. With all this being said, being fat is more fun. This stuff is so annoying. I don't get how y'all love this.

@offbeatorbit Yep. My father passed in 2020 from pancreatic cancer doing home hospice. To call it horrible minimizes what happened.

Lemme let you know right here and now that hospice is not synonymous with Not Having A Long And Painful Death. My husband did home hospice for nearly two months before he died. Every single day was torture for him. He was in constant pain. His body starved him to death.

@clhubes I’m in my 40’s and have lost about 6 lbs in a month. But it’s been a lot. No bread, noodles, beer, added sugar, processed food. Limited booze overall. Intermittent fasting. Tracking every bit of food. Drinking seltzer during happy hours. Skipping dinners out. No bueno.
