I wonder how my experience of watching the odyssey will be different because I’ll have to watch it in Italian. Will it be closer or further away from the original?

my sister: when you post this pic of our AC, our friends from London won’t know what it is so just caption it clearly lol (having AC in Europe=mega flex😎) for my UK friends: this mysterious device is called air conditioning. it lowers the temperature indoors instead of asking you to endure things you shouldn’t be enduring

@celestialbe1ng @HYPER_STITION Valium is effective against anxiety but can definitely make you a crazy psycho, especially when mixed with alcohol, don't ever do that

You remember my friend D, right? Apparently he knows a pharmacist in Marylebone who is extremely relaxed about prescriptions (cue Valium). After my facelift, one of my incisions opened in the recovery room, my face was covered in blood, and I started having a full panic attack shaking and convulsing uncontrollably. They fed me Valium and I was fine within minutes. Sometimes Valium is the only thing that helps, and I will not be silenced on this. Valium forever. I like Valium. Valium.

Ray Peat said you should take valium agonists Resistance of the Heart, Newsletter, June 1992 “A complete list of protective nutritional chemicals and natural drugs or analogs to our endogenous protective factors would be very long, but we should give special thought to certain ones, including succinic acid, which stimulates respiration and protective steroid synthesis; thyroid and vitamin E, which promote normal oxidation while preventing abnormal oxidation; magnesium; sodium and lithium, which help us to retain magnesium; tropical fruits, which contain GHB; coconut oil, which protects against cardiac necrosis, lipid peroxidation, hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia, and histamine damage; valium agonists, natural anti-histamines; adenosine and uridine. Visits to higher elevations, and exposure to bright, long-wave light, can cause the body to optimize its own anti-stress chemistry.”

This is exactly what I mean when I say that men don't actually need to be conventionally handsome for women to find them attractive. They just need to have masculine traits, such as a strong jawline, a full head of hair, good height, physical strength, a thick neck, or athletic ability. He has an impressive appearance whether you think he is handsome or not. People will notice him in a very positive way

@johannesmkx Random evolution theories are so funny. Try a raw steak vs a cooked steak and tell me which one is easier to chew. Spoiler: the raw one

A protruding lower face is a sign of having evolved to eat a lot of uncooked foods (tough to chew), suggesting sub-Saharan Africans didn't use fire for cooking for a long time, whereas Eurasians did use fire for cooking.

Almost 1 year of being a father Here’s a few things I’ve learned Your relationship with your wife is beyond important, put her first and make her life as easy as possible Because your child grows up in the world you create together, the better your relationship is, the better everything else tends to be Spending time with your daughter or son is the most productive thing you can do You will have less time for work and life in general but you will learn to be better and more efficient with the time you do have When you become a father, you have this constant proud feeling, you are building your family, you feel you’re on the right path You care less about status games and impressing others, you just want your wife and kids to think you’re cool so you prioritise them and stop chasing others, ironically by doing this other people will think you’re cooler From a fitness perspective, a lot of dads talk about fatherhood as if it’s the reason they got out of shape. Sounds harsh, but in reality, most weren’t in great shape beforehand and they use fatherhood as an excuse, not good to blame family life, if anything it should motivate you Your kids are watching, your wife is watching And one day your son or daughter will decide what normal looks like by looking at you, so set the standard Being a jacked, healthy dad who decides his own schedule is the ultimate flex in life

@MattiaFiumara @yacineMTB That's a skill issue. There's not ONE thing in the UX that mac/windows does better that can't be replicated on linux. You can't say the opposite.

@yacineMTB The Linux desktop environment is a horrible experience. What window manager are you using that you find Linux much better? Have you experienced running out of RAM yet on Linux desktop? You’ll miss macOS very soon I believe.

@yacineMTB Been saying this for years. On windows at least you can hack around their shitty system and do some stuff, on macos you can barely change the theme, you're locked into absolute garbage and have to witness their joke of a UX on a daily basis. Alladin lamp animation?? Come on

@yonann you don't do math. 180k/month. elon musk is not in this tier. 2.4 million/yr for a drug. Im not going to explain this but how much is a reasonable rate of return on 1 billion /year?

Clavicular says Big Pharma is gatekeeping a drug that costs $180,000 a month and only billionaires can access "There's a drug called Increlex, generic IGF-1, it's really only accessible by Elon Musk tier billionaires because it's so outrageously expensive.. we're talking $180,000 a month" "This is quite literally the best thing you could do because you're not actually interfering with your endocrine system" "IGF is one of the best growth pathways in terms of getting more size.. it's a really important hormone in your body"

@codewithpri It's the opposite unless you're a complete moron, especially with today's AI, it's never been easier to use linux. While mac is still stuck in the stone age, you have to do a little ritual of drag and drop with your mouse to install a program lmao

@Mkt_Rider @julia_follin Also FYI it seems like they present "vitamin K" drops as an alternative, you can just accept those and never give them or replace with water lol. That will save you that annoying conversation

The Vitamin K shot in Sweden is Konakion Novum containing no aluminium, no alcohol, no polysorbate 80. It contains: - phytomenadione (vitamin K1) - Bile salt (glycocholic acid) - Lecithin (phospholipid) - Sodium hydroxide - Water This is informative.

Here’s what no one is explaining 👇 A baby enters the world with cord blood rich in stem cells - meant to flow freely & repair tissues stressed during birth. Low vit K at birth is absolutely NOT an error… It meant to keep blood fluid so those stem cells can actually reach where they’re needed 👀 Then comes the first milk - colostrum ✨ Naturally high in vitamin K. Given orally. Slow, gradual, biological🙏 Once again... perfectly timed 🫶 But instead of letting that process finish… ✂️ Early cord clamping 🩸Up to 30% of blood volume gone 💉Synthetic vitamin K injected minutes after birth Straight into an immune system that’s barely there. No real conversation about timing. No mention of oral options. No breakdown of ingredients. 😡😤🤬 And what’s inside that shot? 💉Polysorbate 80 — linked to blood-brain barrier disruption 💉Propylene glycol - an industrial solvent 💉Benzyl alcohol - associated with newborn gasping syndrome 💉Sometimes aluminum - because why not All to “fix” a natural system that already had a plan… wcnc.com/article/news/l… kissandkids.com/theres-a-77-sp… parents.com/why-parents-ar… cidrap.umn.edu/public-health/… nih.gov/news-events/ni…

@julia_follin @fy_pool_day_ Are they hysterical if the parents say no to the K-vitamin shot? I ask because my wife will soon give birth in sweden and I really don't see the point of the shot.

@fy_pool_day_ You don't need to, if you as a parent do not agree to :) at least in Sweden. This is informative. The Swedish version is not ''the same toxic'' formula as the American one. It is important to be precise when sharing information. At least for me.
