CENTS & Raster We're honored that CENTS is the first Bitcoin project on Raster, which has proven to be the best gallery/marketplace interface for art on ETH/TEZ and is now broadening to Ordinals. Why this matters: CENTS has stood out in its capacity to bring collectors into Bitcoin Ordinals both from other chains, and from the broader art world. CENTS was the first Ordinal for numerous ETH collectors, including several punk minters who recognize early punk energy around this free mint that has grown into a strong community coming together around dissecting traits, sharing perspectives of cultural significance, and evangelizing the project to new eyes. CENTS has also brought Bitcoin Ordinals to China's leading contemporary arts institution, UCCA Beijing, where it's featured in a retrospective of Rutherford Chang's major works, to Art Basel through Arab Bank Switzerland, to Christie's. Being the first Bitcoin project on Raster represents the broader course of CENTS in widening the cultural awareness of art on Bitcoin not just to other chains, but to the fine art world, and the whole world. It is a project that embodies and enacts core gestures of blockchain's position in history and its transformation of value, and it continues to unfold in timelessness.

Good morning! Thank you to everyone who submitted to the HOMAGE Brâncuşi Open Call. 💐 It was hard to choose from almost 600 submissions. There were many thoughtful and beautiful works of art. We're grateful that so many artists took the time to engage with Brancusi's work with depth. We did our best to put together a cohesive show, combining both works that are classical homages to Brâncuşi, and works in dialogue with his core ideas. Below are artists curated from the Open Call. Soon we will share works from the invited artists 🙏🤍 We're excited for the show exhibiting at the National Theater in Craiova, Romania from March 19 - April 14. Works will be for sale in the HOMAGE exhibition on Foundation beginning Wed, March 18 at 10:30am PT. @trevorjonesart 💯 wonderful frame, yes working on model 3 for the Mobility universe, it’s a very hard path but that makes it a fascinating experience!

Cryptoart currently runs on three key models. As an artist, which one are you investing your time and energy in? 1️⃣ Platform curation. Gatekeepers decide who gets access and visibility just like galleries in the trad art world. 2️⃣ Network influence. Collector communities coordinate attention, narrative & market momentum around the artists they support. 3️⃣ System creation. Artists design frameworks where participants own pieces of a larger structure and meaning emerges through interaction. In model 3 the artwork isn't simply a new collection or an 'innovative' Web3 platform gimmick. It's a structured system with elements and rules that evolve through participation. Collectors hold components such as symbols or tokens that interact through specific mechanics. Participation changes the structure and meaning of the work itself. A few artists are building this out now, but overall not many. Yes, participatory art has existed for decades but what’s new in Web3 is that participants/collectors can now own and activate pieces of the structure itself, shifting participation from interpretation to direct interaction with the work. Artists, focus on 3️⃣. Build your worlds and see you on the other side. 🚀

dear CENTS collectors, just heard from Satflow that they "don't have the capability" to include a royalty functionality AT ALL. Enough is enough. If you care even a little bit about this project, about its presence in the world, its longevity, then move your old ME listings to @trygamma. It's an important time with ME shutting down, and it matters what you do. It matters what place becomes the next hub for trading. This was a free mint (1 sat for 1 Cent) and we've busted our assess for the last two mfing years to represent it and maintain it as it deserves, from the timeline, to the conferences, to the trait sites, to the community, to the museums. The 2.5% isn't a lot, but it does mean a lot. I hope you can put yourself in our shoes and realize that it truly matters, especially at this critical time.
