What happens when you stand in front of a room filled with people from the traditional arts, institutions, education, creative tech, and culture… and start talking about NFTs, AI, cryptoart, AR hijacks, digital ownership, hype cycles, and why some of the “worst ideas” of my career became the foundation for everything that followed? Tomorrow I’m keynote speaker at the Creative Tech Scotland Gathering at the Edinburgh Futures Institute in Edinburgh. Popped in today to see the space. Honestly, I’ve no idea how this is going to go 😅 The whole talk is built around creative risk, ridicule, disruption, perseverance, and how artists navigate technological change before culture eventually catches up. Should be interesting. Wish me luck!
