@psychicceej @Yonepatchi let us not compete, but rather allow each other to grow in the best way possible

@Yoshiandlugia it was so funny that this set made people scared that reg c was going to be an awful meta, just for people to generally drop fissure on ting lu like 2 weeks later
English

This set haunted me for years cause people were saying I couldn't play the game and just relied on luck and it got in my head, but now I look back on this and think this clip is just funny cause of how low odds this situation was.

I don’t mind sharing my research but it’s not for use by racists, bullies, or homophobes.
@Verliswolf please remove any references to my research from your video.
Anyone else please go give him a thumbs down and leave a comment asking him to remove my content

@bunchonumb3rs @Lizardlogan_TWO @Braseg_257 stall was decently popular in swsh ou but that’s besides the point, the average SV ou game on smogon goes on around 20-40 turns where the average VGC game is like 5 or so. to run a bo3 in singles just takes so much more time and to still be able to play 8 rounds would be too much
English

@Lizardlogan_TWO @Braseg_257 Sure, but stall hasn’t been very good for a couple gens now

I don’t intend to stop people from speaking publicly about any of their experiences, but I do not think it is worthwhile to air my personal grievances with other people online, and I tend to refrain from “exposing” my private disagreements with other content creators and online community members, unless I think they are a danger to others. I am friends with people, both in real life and online, who have done things I disagree with, and I tell them how I feel and try to guide them in the right direction, privately. Sometimes, if they are publicly sharing an opinion, I will publicly disagree with and criticize that opinion, of course, but I tend to think that dogpiling over petty private interactions is bad, even if the person in question was wrong or mean.
Every google doc/twtlonger/cancellation thread that “exposes” a person for secretly being a “bad person,” without serious accusations that deserve to be brought to light, results in a drama fest, attracting people who are simply eager to have a righteous excuse to bully someone. I think, as a person with a following, it is my responsibility not to weaponize that, because there would be disproportionate consequences for bad behavior if the bad behavior were not significant.
We can care about multiple things at once, and we should, but with everything that is going on in the world today, I don’t think that shifting the online discourse to something that has mildly hurt your feelings is productive. I hope anyone that does this learns to engage in more effective coping strategies, like having a strong, tightknit support network (not your followers on social media) and learning to self soothe and deal with negative behaviors you experience from others, in a healthier manner.
This obviously doesn’t refer to serious accusations, and it doesn’t refer to one specific incident. It has happened so many times at this point. If you have some sort of document that fits this description out there, I am not weighing in on it here, because I have not read it and do not have time to care.

@FrostedCaribou Biased but I have watched/helped @Norbio7 intervene multiple times with people being creepy towards women/making sure women get home safe after the bars, and Ive also watched @MogoVGC sac his whole night to make sure people are safe and okay, anyone should feel safe w them

Can we use replies on this to vouch for others who’ve made you feel safe and supported at Pokémon events?
Whether that’s walking around the venue with you, making sure you had someone to travel with, or just checking in when you needed it etc.
For me, I’ve gone to plenty of events by myself, and I often end up walking around alone. It can feel isolating, and honestly, I don’t want to keep doing that anymore. I also know I’m not the only one.
A lot of people online are currently saying they will help / are safe but I feel like others vouching goes a long way. Thank you.
