At least 24 people were killed and around 20 were injured after a powerful blast hit a train carrying military personnel near Chaman Phatak railway station in Quetta, Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack, as authorities declared an emergency in Quetta hospitals and heightened security across the region.

I thought only Meiteis could inflict such inhuman treatment on an innocent, helpless woman. Years of brutal torture, starvation, and assault were allegedly carried out by a professor at one of the world’s best-known institutions, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, and his wife at their campus residence. The IIM management across India must immediately terminate this couple from their jobs. Such actions would bring shame to a 70-year-old institution that is one of India’s premier educational establishments. He committed this chilling crime in broad day light & got captured on CCTV while taking the child away
Even death penalty is small for such demons. I sometimes wonder how police controls their anger in cases like this. Encounters actually feel totally legitimate in extreme cases like these. Such elements should not have any place to live in human society
Heart goes out for the family of this baby. Such unimaginable horror :(

#WATCH | Manipur: A 13-hour total shutdown is being observed across Churachandpur district today. The shutdown is called by the Zomi frontal organisations over the death of BJP MLA Vungzagin Valte. He died on February 20, 2026 at a hospital in Gurugram (Haryana), after being attacked by mobs on May 4, 2023.
The shutdown began at 5:00 AM and will conclude at 6:00 PM. During the shutdown all shops, commercial establishments, educational institutions, offices, and public transport have ceased operations.
