🍀 Mayor Zohran Mamdani was spotted along the St. Patrick's Day Parade route on Tuesday morning. The mayor was sporting a parade sash with the Irish colors as he waved to the crowd along the route. He briefly stopped to speak with some revelers as he went. Presenting the fourth and final part of Hunter Lea's showcase of all my singles from 1965-2004, both A and B sides. I must admit that I am more than a little proud of this history. Forgive me if I sound as if I'm boasting, but I have 21 chart hits on Billboard's Hot 100; I bubbled under a couple of times, and I have multiple entries on their AC, Country, and Album Charts, but history has rewritten me as a one-hit wonder. Again I say — one-hit-wonder my ass!  There are some damned good records here that, unfortunately, never went anywhere. I'll never understand why that music was ignored the way it was. What a waste. I never really had the support of any label I recorded for. At Reprise, I was Frank's kid, just someone to be tolerated, and that attitude, unfortunately, followed me throughout my career. When I signed with Private Stock Records, Larry Uttal made promises that, ultimately, he was unable to deliver on. Such a shame, because the Private Stock recordings are really amazing. Once I became a mother and started focusing on my family, these disappointments didn't hurt as much. I'm happy that through the efforts of Hunter, Light In The Attic, and my team, these great records are being rediscovered. Thank you for listening and I hope you love them as much as I do.
