By sheer accident, Facebook plays host to one of the very best, evidence-based forums for vaccine discussion on the internet--a group called "Vaccine Talk" that we wrote a front-page story about last month: washingtonpost.com/technology/202… So of course Facebook keeps shutting it down.

The other issue is that it now appears to be buried by the algorithms that help people discover it, perhaps from too much “offending content.” This is why today it is nearly impossible to have a good faith debate about vaccines online. Both under-enforcement and over-enforcement

So the VaccineTalk FB group that me, @WillOremus @GerritD wrote about as an island of sanity in a sea of misinfo was shut down again! This, I was told, was the “offending” post that @fbnewsroom flagged as medical misinfo. Huh?
