I think there’s a strong argument to be made that dictatorships are often better at executing long-term strategic plans, since they can maintain political continuity over decades In democracies, long-term policy is harder to sustain because leadership changes frequently, priorities shift with election cycles and politicians are incentivized to focus on short-term results rather than long term prosperity

Nuclear has had 70 years to establish challenge fossil fuels and establish itself as the cheap energy source of the future. Today it doesn't even provide 10%. Wind and Solar each managed to reach these 10% in 20 years and are scaling quickly. Nuclear has failed.
