@CarlZha @martyrmade Then, you don’t really understand what Dune’s about. Dune is about an exiled feudal lord manipulating an oppressed people by posing as a religious figure, prophet, and savior to focus the people to his own ends, then waging a genocidal war to dominate the galaxy (world).

I can't get over the fact that Dune is about an oppressed people fighting for their homeland, waging a jihad to bring down a hegemonic empire by threatening to cut off the flow of their most precious commodity after the empire had assassinated their religious leader's father.

@cturnbull1968 @ItCySt8 You don’t need to get a passport. You just have to provide your birth certificate. If you are a married woman and you changed your name, you have to provide your birth certificate, and marriage license. You have to do these things to get an ID anyway.

If every American voter, without a passport, decided to get a passport, as their primary form of ID, it would take 5 years to fill the requests. But Republicans want this to be in effect before the midterms.
They know this, of course, so it’s obvious voter suppression.

I know you think this is a brilliant idea, but it’s not. It will cause more frequent escalation. Your anecdotal evidence is not evidence.
