@JoshOO1J Ever wondered why the other states have preferred to preserve and conserve their state houses even with renovation?

I am a Professor of Architecture. I have been a judge for Commonwealth Association of Architects Awards, International Union of Architects Awards, Asia Architecture Awards, AAK-Crown Architecture Awards, etc. Feel free to ignore my opinion. The New State House is plain MEDIOCRE!

@aomenya So you think all this positions you to rule over people's opinions? Aesthetics are a matter of preference. Whatever looks good to you might look mediocre to me and vice versa

@Belive_Kinuthia You think those presidents will think Kenya is a first world country by being hosted in the state house?

Do you see why it was IMPORTANT to RENOVATE Statehouse? Imagine hosting over 30 Presidents in a Statehouse with peeling color, old floors and dilapidated ceilings? It would have been a national embarrassment. The President saw what we all couldn't.

@BarasaImmanuel @Bossyator It's still going to be a ghetto if it takes 20yrs to avail adequate sanitation and services to those affordable houses, going by PS Omollo's statement. Infact worse because you're devolving ghettos to all counties!

@Bossyator So you're suggesting we embrace the ghetto and we're happy. Secondly, food crisis in the country is just those same years ahead. If land fragmentation, that is trying to be solved by the affordable housing in the rural areas can be achieved,

Watu wa Tutam, this is constructive criticism. Your president is creating a problem that will take decades to solve while trying to solve the unemployment problem, infact he's just solved the unemployment problem temporarily since all those who worked on these projects go back to being unemployed once the projects are complete. Ask yourself, if every Constituency out of 290 has donated pieces of public land for ESP market, Affordable Housing Project and TVET, that's atleast 900pieces of land that this admiration has grabbed that can't be used otherwise in future right?. If the projects fail to sell, then we're left with a bigger problem, no public land in some constituencies at all & elephant undisposable projects. Sisi ndio wajinga!

With respect to my colleagues in the football writing industry, I am stunned that Bruno Fernandes has been named FWA Footballer of the Year instead of Declan Rice. Rice has literally won more matches this season (35) than Fernandes has even played (34). telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@ntvkenya What kind of nonsense is this? 20yrs really, is this a scape goat to avoid accountability because no one will remember to refer to this 20yrs later... Also why should it that long, what's the logic? Why not 3-5yrs?
