That seals it, I would argue. If it truly was a crazy conspiracy theory, Pierre would have given Rogan a "yeah, it's pretty funny, but it's not true" (since he was laughing out loud 1 second earlier). This summer, the Leafs need to think seriously about Nylander’s future w the team.

@feedthefish79 @peeball123 Contracts aside, I think you’re underestimating Werenski’s importance. He is their best player. An elite #1 Dman. They aren’t trading him… Like 0% chance Adam Fox would be more realistic, but again, the Rangers would want younger players. Nylander is older than Fox.

@feedthefish79 @peeball123 Problem is, any team trading a so called “stud” defender is also in a rebuild/re-tool and they would be looking for younger players. Look at the Quinn Hughes/ Eichel trades Those are more like the packages you’d be looking at.

@WatchMyReview I would absolutely sign Tuch though. Leafs have more than enough cap space to offer a big deal, and they need another difference maker. He can also skate well which the Leafs need

We are going to try hard to sign Alex Tuch for a massive contract while Buffalo will let him go because they are so deep with talent they can't find room for him. Tuch has the exact "Style" that will appeal to Toronto. Interestingly enough, his playoff numbers are worse than Matthews, Tavares, Nylander. But Edna will hear Tuch plays that style that helps you win. He's 30 next year. He'll want 7 years

For me Maccelli is the classic if you don't watch the team he plays for and just look at his points total you think here's a useful guy. He may be the leader of "just a guy". If we keep him sure, if we lose him whatever. Clearly no one wanted him at the TDL.
