Im concerned... Hearing that "Scerts" training is being rolled out in Scotland for Schools. What do my friends in the #autistic Community think of this?

@MorrisonBeth I have worked in two schools where scerts has been implemented and I have been part of the team . I didn’t have a concern about ABA at all. I inputed training to staff in relation to the sensory learning. My take in it was that it was very much training staff about the why

@MotorvateT @bounceot Perhaps there’s more awareness needed (to other OT’s too) with help from @RCOT_IP @SteveGFord RCOT support? It’s more common in Scotland to have these clashes with public sector staff - rest of UK have more blended models re: service delivery across all sectors. 💡

@MotorvateT @bounceot Thanks. I’m cautious to not sound unprofessional or like I’m defending my business for any financial gain… but that’s impossible as a non profit company anyway, and it’s the families who miss out and have more unmet needs.
