Always a joy to share how I found my way to Bitcoin 🧡 But honestly, my favourite part of this whole project is reading everyone else’s stories, it’s beautiful how differently we all got here. Thank you @MouxDesign & the Between Us team for telling them so well. Have a read 👉betweenusstories.com/story/sabina-w…

At first, I dismissed it. Surely that couldn't be true. We're part of the freedom tech movement. We speak about openness, collaboration, decentralization, and building for everyone. I wanted to believe those values extended beyond our code. Whether intentional or not, moments like these have consequences. My students never knew what was happening behind the scenes. But my team did. There were days they questioned whether we truly belonged in this ecosystem. Days I had to rebuild their confidence. Days I considered walking away altogether. But every time I looked at the women who had trusted us, I couldn't. I saw too much talent, potential and dreams depending on someone simply refusing to quit. I'll always be grateful to @MouxDesign for listening during those difficult moments. So instead of stopping, we kept building.

The silent bullying in the Bitcoin ecosystem. This post was meant to be about how proud I am of our developers. And it still is. But there's something else I need to say. When I started @DadaDevs , I quickly realized that the problem wasn't a lack of technical skill among female developers. It was a lack of confidence and a lack of spaces intentionally designed with them in mind. From day one, Dada Devs was never meant to be the destination. It was meant to be a stepping stone. The goal was always for our developers to join other technical programs, access opportunities beyond what we could provide, build relationships with mentors, secure funding, and become contributors to the broader Bitcoin ecosystem. Watching them go from asking, "Do I really belong here?" to confidently asking, "What project can I contribute to?" has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Along that journey, we naturally reached out to people who had gone before them to mentor the next generation. That journey, however, hasn't always been easy. There were moments when opportunities quietly disappeared. Moments when mentorship became harder to access...(am being diplomatic here)

Today, we’re celebrating members of the Dada Devs community whose contributions have been successfully merged into Bitcoin and open-source projects. ⚡ We’re proud to celebrate: 🧡 @Su_Githaiga — Contributing to BTCPay Server, Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK), and Blockstream, helping improve the tools and infrastructure that power the Bitcoin ecosystem. 🧡 @Its_nkathake — Contributing to Braidpool, Warnet, and Bitcoin Core, supporting decentralized mining infrastructure, Bitcoin testing environments, and Bitcoin’s core software. 🧡 @junearsenic7 — Contributing to Bitcoin Core, helping strengthen the software that secures the world’s largest decentralized monetary network. 🧡 @Abug_fairy — Contributing to YakiHonne, an open-source social platform built on Nostr. These contributions power real tools used across the Bitcoin ecosystem. They’re a reminder that every pull request, no matter how small, is an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and leave the ecosystem better than you found it. Here’s to more commits, more merged PRs, and more African women building the future of Bitcoin—one contribution at a time. 🧡⚡ #DadaDevs #OpenSource #BitcoinDevelopment #BitcoinCore #WomenInBitcoin #BuildOnBitcoin

Reminiscing about our time in Oslo with some truly beautiful, fun, and talented people 🧡 I always leave a conference feeling energized and inspired, and it’s almost entirely because of the people. IRL will always beat digital.

If you’ve never actually used open-source, open-weight AI, then you might be brainwashed into thinking this Once you use it, you realize everyone should have the ability to use it and “safeguards” preventing us from using it is the real Orwellian nightmare
Mitt Romney@MittRomney

Our highest and most urgent national priority should be AI safeguards. The risks of AI weapons, pathogens, mass unemployment, surveillance, and even extinction must not continue to be largely ignored.

@LouisLibre @sethforprivacy Thanks for the inspiration. I think making a YouTube walkthrough of the skill file would be a good addition to the skill file itself so I'll go ahead and do that and post here when it's done.

I think I've finally been AI-pilled. At @OsloFF I got to try a new Claude skill from @MouxDesign that helped me mock up a new app for the Cake Wallet family I'd been thinking about for 2y in about 30min in the middle of the night. Then I was able to build a working PoC of it with real funds in a few hours the next morning to show @vikrantnyc in person. This saves me and my design team SO MUCH TIME when I have a specific feature or app I want us to build, I can bring my vision to life in a few minutes and save many meetings and hours of back and forth, all with much higher fidelity than I could have directly in Figma otherwise. I'm also heavily using Claude Code to help on the infrastructure side, as I'm our infrastructure engineer while also being COO and need any time-saving measures I can there (while of course being extremely cautious and manually reviewing every change, testing in dev, etc.) Enhancing skills I already have (product, ex-SRE, etc.) is the prime fit IMO, instead of making me something I am not (a dev, designer, etc.).
