@ThePfef I dont know if I totally agree with that. I think the skill of pushing a draw is something thats always been present, even at lower skilled pods, but the logical reasonings for *how* and *why* were not explained so people default to “so we draw now?” on (almost) all interaction.

@MoxAether The high end, the problem is going to be that a lot of people are still reaching the skill level of forcing the draws so that is adding draw percentage points faster than the skill of avoiding draws is reducing it for now.

Something to think about. I know there's a lot of loud voices that spend a lot of time clowning on cEDH because of the draw rate. Yes the draw rate has gotten very high. However, just because some of those voices are

@MoxAether I think you can shave a few percentage points off the rate, but not solve it that way.

@ChefGreginald Ah didn’t realize thats what that was. To me it sounds like it could be a mix of sinus drainage with tears in the nasal areas from cold+dry air. I get frequent nose bleeds in winter from it and if im sick or nasally ill sometimes have phlegm with blood in it.

@MoxAether I mentioned the ENT in my original post. She didn't really help me. I don't believe I have any allergies like that, and I haven't been around anything too crazy. The only thing I can think of is the fact that it's been very cold, I guess?

Between 3 urgent care visits and an ENT visit, I've been charged probably between $3-4k, and all I've received is a bottle of ibuprofen and 2 Tylenols with still no diagnosis. And yet, my problems persist. I might become Luigi pretty soon here

@ChefGreginald Ear nose and throat doctors would be my first step. Have you had bad allergies or sinus drainage? Also have you been around areas that have alot of heavy dust and stuff like construction sites or manufacturing plants?

@MoxAether It's very persistent throat problems. My throat has felt anywhere between sore, globby, and/or uncomfortable in some way for months. Last week, the whole week, I was spitting up clumps of blood, and they still had no idea what was happening

@ThePfef Do you think breaking through the parity gridlocks we commonly see that constitute to the high draw rate is something we can solve with social levers (politics/ mindset) or something that has to come from mechanical ones (card pool/ card optimizations) ?

@MoxAether IMHO we are looking for a 20-25% draw rate as a healthy number. Realistically we should be able to keep it under 30% most of the time, but the highest level of play is always going to be higher. The more optimal the play by all players the harder it is to break parity and win.
