JSYK, the process for removing/replacing the barrel on an HK91-style rifle involves spot welds on either side of the trunnion and a big pin you need to knock out, and then the barrel is pressed in place (you need special tools to do or undo this). Pain in the ass.

@Gayrapistthug @DanOvercast @DocStrangelove2 If you have a classic HK-style muzzle, your threads will be M15x1 RH. Almost nobody makes muzzle devices to that spec anymore (all 5/8x24), but if you get a suitable adapter you can convert between them (Hughes Precision makes one that I used). Make sure to use Rocksett

@Gayrapistthug @DanOvercast @DocStrangelove2 I added a muzzle brake to mine (Griffin Armament Dual-Lok Paladin), and it tamed it enough that even at 6x magnification (on bipod) I don't lose my sight picture. Big difference. Kinda rattles your teeth if you're next to it though lol

@DanOvercast @DocStrangelove2 I have a ptr91 (legal g3 replica) and I agree, its still controllable with followup shots with how the recoil is but every range day i leave with the grill bruise from the stock. recoil is a bit more rough compared to any rifle with a gas system but I find its more "predictable"

Hungary’s incoming PM has said that Viktor Orbán used Hungarian government funds to help finance CPAC, the flagship networking event for GOP candidates, members of Congress, and conservative media in this country. Under U.S. law, that is not just a Hungarian problem. Foreign governments are barred from spending money in American elections, and Americans are forbidden from soliciting or accepting it. The U.S. government has to refund $166 billion in tariffs, PLUS interests. Trump said he would be paying Americans checks from tariffs and eventually even replace the income tax. So now not only are you not getting DOGE checks after he cancelled DOGE, you’re not getting tariff checks and paying the interests back on tariffs collected. And you are also paying $2 billion a day for Trump and Netanyahu’s war in Iran. And you are paying on avg $4 per gallon gas and inflation is rising again. The lack of humility and understanding the struggle of regular Americans is astounding to me. Trump and his lackeys demand loyalty and name call and bully yet Americans struggle more and more.

Can’t wait to hear about the new “peace deal” Monday around 7:30 AM before the markets open.

@Mr_Rebs_ I do feel like people calling for others to not buy Campaign Evolved in protest really miss the forest for the tree's. Boycotting the game over managements behavior specifically doesn't just hurt them, it hurts all the innocent individuals under them just trying to make a game.

Glenn Israel just shared his own message on Reddit about protecting the innocent Halo developers. He first explained why the ideas that Halo managers/devs hate Halo and force a “woke agenda” are completely false. He then said we’re not wrong for being angry about leadership and wanting things to be better for Halo. But like I said in my post, we need to direct our feelings where it belongs: management. We must hold management accountable and protect the devs! #Halo
