From a throwaway quote → emotionally credible testimonial.
Before:
- Lacked credibility
- No emotional connection
- No recognizable branding
- Forgettable design
After:
- Clean, inviting layout
- Bold, attention-grabbing headline
- Brand logo and CEO photo (building emotional connection, especially if recognised)
- UK-focused hook (“🇬🇧 by British Business Owners”) — clearly signaling the company serves the UK market only
Users are far more likely to trust the testimonial — and, by extension, your brand.
Small design tweak → big credibility boost → more sales.
@designcoursecom@wesbos People say we don't need UI but ,voice and chat is enough but...
That is so much more cognitive load.
With UI you see the options, its lie a hint what you can do.
Maybe the new era of UI is chat + voice with a "Legend" on the right to help out on what to say.
Give me your hottest takes on generative UI, MCP apps, agents returning widgets, and chat as the final interface
Working on a talk for JS Nation and I want to spotlight some differing opinions
@OkthatsCool7@RepClayFuller@timburchett In the EU, ALL new cars r will need to install inwards cameras for personal use.
If the camera is off, you won't be able to start the car.
I'm sure the future plan is to automatically drive you to the police station if you're in the car.
@RepClayFuller@timburchett They also encourage big corporations to have their truck drivers have inward facing cameras, and there has been numerous cases of them being turned on while the driver was off duty just living in his cab.
It’s 1:15 in the morning, but @timburchett and I are still fighting to protect your privacy from government surveillance. It’s time to end Flock Cameras’ massive overreach of tracking citizens license plates! The 4th Amendment has to be protected
AI needs an interface
Actually... no. AI doesn't.
It's us, humans, we need visual interfaces to interact with computers. And that's what AI agents are lacking
Cosmo adds the UI layer to AI agents. Just type or speak from your desktop, and UI generates in real time
Interact on agentic UI, not through text
@MrAurelian@fuckyouiquit To quote one of my favorite songs
Blessed are the fornicants
May we bend down to be their whores
Blessed are the rich
May we labor, deliver them more
Blessed are the envious
Bless the slothful, the wrathful, the vain
Blessed are the gluttonous
May they feast us to famine and war
Meta will layoff 8000 of its workforce starting tomorrow morning. Their net income over the last 12 months was $70,587,000,000. They could give every single one of their 79,000 workers a $440,000 bonus and still sock away over $35,827,000,000 in pure profit.
@levelsio Supply demand. Not everyone can fluidy demand and if work is exceptional you can consider it luxury.
It has a meaning, but a lot of crap companies can sell crap because optics, but don’t last after the first impression.
The internet spreads information much faster than pre-internet so people figure out faster that luxury products are pretty much all a scam with 95% of the cost spend on manipulative marketing and store fronts
Their status appeal is gone too as you see low status people buy most luxury products now
So luxury products become an anti-signal
Nothing special.
However, I do like this for some reason.
The picture on the right has nice taste, combined with the font and other aspects - it's quite nice.
Dribbble has such login screen, but its a different style.
Gonna steal this, I like it.
How did you generate the image if I could ask please? And what prompt did you do?
✨ We may have shipped the greatest onboarding of all time.
↳ qualifies your pain
↳ finds and imports your existing docs
↳ sets up your branding
↳ wires up your codebase and support tool
↳ and writes your first help docs in minutes
I just got laid off from Meta.
Obviously it sucks to lose the income. But between the never-ending layoffs, stack ranking, etc., I'm good. Pretty convinced that when I look back at this moment a few years into the future, I'll be grateful it happened.
There's a lot I want to say here, but I'll save that for another day. Either way it's been a privilege to have been a part of the ride. On to the next adventure.
Greed? I call that growing.
A company is its own entity, the billionaires have everything they want and can have, an extra billion or five won't do anything for them.
Homes that these people buy are also scarced, so having extra money becomes useless - even though their net work is based on stock anyway.
---
For big companies like that, billionares dont have cash, and companies value is based on what they can offer and how much cash they got to survive and or to grow.
I mean...
You start making half a million, does that automatically become greed? Yes, for some.
On a legal level, there's no difference between high and low IQ criminals - I agree with you on that.
It seems like you're saying Mark from Meta is a criminal because hes taking advantage of hard working people.
To that, there is some truth on how companies operate, lobbying, breaking the law like Mark does and then just pays cost of business, I meant fines...
But the nature of being an CEO is that you take the risk, build the company, have people work under you, and then because of the risk etc you get to reap the big reward.
And for low IQ, a person who rapes, steals a TV etc... those aren't necessities.
But I'm sure these people are too dumb to realise and are lead with domapine shots.
---
I feel like you're not all for capitalism, which definitely has issues.
We probably agree on a raw value-based level though, and are cycling a bit on semantics.
@MrAurelian@fuckyouiquit Is the difference between a low iq criminal and a high iq criminal the method used to screw people over? In the end they are both soulless people taking advantage of the hard working. One is fighting to survive the other is looking to buy their 3rd private island.
@rewind02@0xchromium I know that lol
The question is why do you think some people do, and others don't.
At the end of the day none of us is really special.
Some people think more, and others don't - but you can train yourself.
Andrej Karpathy spent 4 minutes in an interview explaining a single idea
about how most people haven’t even started learning how to use AI
and everyone paying $20/month for a subscription.. that's not really using Claude at all
his point is that the real skill gap is the ability to build with AI
he identified 4 behaviors that break Claude Code and put them all into one file
a developer expanded it into 21 rules and published it - 82,000 stars and #1 on GitHub Trending
coding accuracy jumped from 65% to 94%
here's what these 21 rules actually are and why most developers using Claude every day have never configured them
the full breakdown is covered in the article below 👇
@ntender@fuckyouiquit I mean, some will be happy doing that.
You'll often see that criminals... on YouTube, have the lowest IQ ever.
They do shit and are happy about it.
🤷♂️
@MrAurelian@fuckyouiquit To follow your vegan argument, this would be more like people helping thieves carry their own property out and load it into the thieves cars and saying shit happens, at least someone profited from this.
@0xchromium@rewind02 Why do you think there are people who use Claude like a chatbox, and then there are those we are doing crazy stuff with it?
Its been out the same amount of time for all of us.
Just because they make a lot of money, doesn't mean they know how to manage them.
I knew a guy with a massive house, a few cars, asking for financial help.
Why? Because he lived over his means.
He had the habbit of a poor man, but weilding more money, getting the same things a poor man would, just bigger.
@ntender@MrAurelian@fuckyouiquit Most people don’t have the means to just get up and quit. You still need money to support yourself. Meta employees are probably all rich though.
I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean, but...
Not every person thinks Meta is bad, and they will gladly do whatever hey are told - so when you say people have power, you are correct.
That doesn't mean every person will side with your values.
Just like with veganism, some people care about animals not dying, so they don't eat meat, and some people know and see the animal being killed, and just don't care... each to their own.
And in the current climate employees are the ones desperat for jobs so they will gt hired for cheaper elsewhere, so this is a wonderful 3D chess move by big companies.
@MrAurelian@fuckyouiquit It does sometimes. My friends employer just fired 30% of his team and replaced them with AI which promptly deleted their project. The ones left told them to kick rocks when they asked them to work overtime to try and get everything back up and running. People have the power.
@ntender@fuckyouiquit But that's not going to happen - that's why things work the way they do.
And even if yes, some people don't care and will gladly take the paycheck.
@MrAurelian@fuckyouiquit It would be funny if the people currently working for them decided to get up and walk out tomorrow and not come back. Then how important would those people be? Unregulated capitalism is why our species will fail.
You're not taking responsibility for what happened.
Maybe you are right; however, in modern days, for people like yourself, you "SHOULD" save the data on an external drive right away, and not keep everything just on an SD card, which in situation like that is going to be taken away guaranteed.
It's 2026.
You can blame them, and say how bad they are - maybe true, but doesn't change the fact they will do it.
So the only correct response to this are:
1. Change the GOV
2. Figure out a solution, like external disk that gets sent to only you can access meanwhile point 1 is in progress
Because right now, they achievd th goal: Took the SD card off you.
You were unprepared.
Hope you don't take it the wrong way.
“You’re not trying to withhold evidence”
The REAL reason the British police stole ALL OF MY CONTENT will surprise you.
Pro Palestine freak was pushing me off the paid protestor bus, (off the stairs) Fred the body guard defended me and kept me from getting injured.
Fred got arrested, my camera footage gets stolen, free Palestine freak leaves smiling.
They proceeded to forcefully take both sd cards from my camera despite having had recorded the video from my camera screen multiple times with audio on high.
They had the entire clip in their possession yet forcefully took my SD cards.
Why?
People told me the police want to capture every person who i interviewed or filmed on my camera to ban them from the country or make their lives hell for having shown up at the United the kingdom rally!!!
They are using Face ID to discriminate based on political views.
These communist freaks stole my sd cards!!!!!! TOOK ALL THE CONTENT I RECORDED OF THIS TRIP!!!
I must get this SD card back so you can see the footage of the trip!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
MAGA MEGA
Without a coding background, it's so hard for ideas to come true...
Chloe talks about how vibe coding gave her a way to finally build the ideas she had as a startup co-founder.
