@gimkit My Ss are really enjoying this new mode. They asked if they could be more protected while answering questions though. They get upset when they are hit while answering the questions.

@SalinaBBaker I watch Miracle at Midnight with my class each year and draw comparisons to Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. Good movie with many talking points that work with a great book.

I got out my DVD of The Crossing because it’s that time of year. So it made me wonder, what are two of your favorite historical movies, inaccuracies and all? Two of mine are The Crossing and Glory. Different eras. Fabulous movies.

A2- In my gamified classroom the immersion of my students when I started being intentional with my language changed drastically. The biggest change was I rarely utter the word test. Boss battle brings a whole difference energy of excitement. #TGEChat

A1- The longer I teach the more I see the value in being more clear and concise with my language. I also provide my students more discussion opportunities than I did early in my career. As for my gamified room, changing the language has made a huge impact! #TGEChat
