Three people have perished on the Expressway, yet @PoliceUg and @KEE_UG are giving two different explanations—one blaming speed, the other saying the driver “reportedly dozed off.” And still, @KEE_UG claims they jointly managed the response. How do two agencies that were on the same scene end up with conflicting accounts? Can an entity contracted to manage the Expressway rely on “reportedly” when lives have been lost? At what point does anyone take responsibility? We cannot prevent future incidents if investigations and public statements are issued in such a disorganized and contradictory manner. @safetywatch_ug Thanks for that good initiative But I think @PoliceUg needs to come up with serious purnishments to all motorists who don’t give way to pedestrians crossing the road at zebra crossing and pedestrians who don’t utilize the zebra crossing while crossing the roads that have them.

@benmwine I can now confirm my belief that 90% of mistakes done by Boda riders on the road are sponsored by their passengers. I have witnessed this on several occasions and there after start castigating them for being notorious. Let’s walk the talk of road safety both in actions and words.

Dear @UNRA_UG those humps in Mbale City are very Horrible. They’re not to help reduce speed and Subsequently accidents but are to destroy people’s shocks because what in the hell of humps are those? Very discomforting. Even if you are driving at 10kms per hour, your car will still jump up and down like how we used to just during PE sessions in school 🙄🙄🙄 Mukyusemuko Banange.
