In 2024, I became obsessed with the idea of making money online. I tried everything I could find: • Dropshipping • Betting • Newsletters • Selling ebooks • Crypto • Forex trading None of it worked. But the biggest reason wasn't that I failed, it was that I didn't enjoy any of it. Then I discovered indie hackers and founders building software products from scratch. For the first time, I found something I genuinely loved. So in 2025, I started teaching myself how to code. Since then, I've been building projects, learning in public, and trying to understand how real software businesses are built. I'm a self-taught developer, and I'll be starting university later this year. My current project: uploadstudy.com, an AI-powered flashcard generator for students. We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

living in SEA is a business strategy my monthly burn is under $2,000 one mid app covers my entire life and everything else is pure runway lower your costs and you can afford to fail 10x more times than the guy paying sf rent

I did a first aid course yesterday and learned so much It's actually crazy that we aren't taught a lot of this when we're younger I would strongly recommend taking a course. You'll never know when you need to save another human's life
