Mark Lynch for U.S. Senate
Lindsey Graham is vulnerable because he has put global priorities ahead of American ones. He has ignored Americans in favor of foreigners. He has fought for special interests instead of his constituents. That ends on June 9. I will represent South Carolinians, defend their values, and fight for America First policies in Washington.

The United States has just bombed Iran power plants, leaving hospitals and homes without electricity for millions of people. Thinking about dialysis patients, babies in NICU, and others. People will die. Innocent children will die. This is a crime against humanity.

Trump's war on Iran appears the greatest bluder in US foreign policy after World War II: 1. No clear aim: regime change, nukes or disarming Iran? 2. No US agency: Just following Israel. 3. No strategy. 4. Ignoring intelligence. 5. No understanding that Iran could block the Strait of Hormuz or bomb Gulf states with US bases. 6. No understanding of the enormous impact of the global economy of the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz. 7. No consultation with any allies but Israel. 8. Alienating all prior allies with unjustified insults. Only a uniquely dumb & ruthless US president could cause so much damage.

The world economy is currently doing its best impression of a Trump casino. Markets are cratering. Gold is sliding. Silver is sliding. Oil is hitting records. And unlike every other crisis in living memory, there is no off-ramp, no bailout phone, no adult in the room ready to talk everyone down from the ledge. Just the sound of chips hitting the floor and a man in a red hat somewhere telling everyone it’s going brilliantly. Which brings us, with a certain horrible logic, to Atlantic City. Because before Trump got his hands on the global economy, he practiced on a smaller scale. Three casinos, one boardwalk, and a financial philosophy that can be summarised as follows: borrow enormous sums at ruinous interest rates, collect a fat salary, and let someone else hold the bag when the whole thing goes sideways. He refined this technique over twenty-five years and four bankruptcies. It is, in retrospect, less a cautionary tale and more a dry run. Trump arrived in Atlantic City in the early 1980s with gold letters, junk bonds, and absolute certainty that he was about to reinvent American gambling. He ended up doing something rather different. His first casino was Trump Plaza, opened in 1984. Then came Trump’s Castle. Then the centrepiece: the Trump Taj Mahal, whose $1 billion construction was financed by junk bonds at an interest rate of 14 percent. Trump called it the eighth wonder of the world. It went bankrupt in 1991, less than a year after opening. That was just the warmup. His casino companies made four trips to bankruptcy court, each time persuading bondholders to accept less money rather than be wiped out. But the companies repeatedly added more expensive debt and returned to the court for protection from lenders. The holding company Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for bankruptcy three times – in 2004, 2009 and 2014, weighed down by debt each time. Here is the part Trump doesn’t mention at rallies: even as his companies did poorly, Trump did well. He put up little of his own money, shifted personal debts to the casinos and collected millions of dollars in salary, bonuses and other payments. The burden of his failures fell on investors and others who had bet on his business acumen. A Temple University law professor who studied the casinos concluded they lost more jobs and money than competitors and went through more bankruptcies than any other major business in America. Trump’s response to the 2004 bankruptcy: “I don’t think it’s a failure.” Trump Plaza was eventually demolished in February 2021 using 3,000 sticks of dynamite. It took about ten seconds to come down. The loans took rather longer. And now, with gold and silver falling, oil surging, and equity markets convulsing from Seoul to Sydney, one is left with an uneasy feeling that the man who perfected the art of the managed collapse has simply found a larger venue. The boardwalk was just the dress rehearsal. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

When Trump first ran he said we would get tired of winning. Well I haven’t seen much “winning”, but I am definitely tired: ✔️ I’m tired of starting more stupid, deadly and costly wars in the Middle East. ✔️ I’m tired of my tax dollars being used to bomb a girls’ school and killing 168 children. ✔️ I’m tired of supporting Israel’s never-ending war crimes. ✔️ I’m tired of fighting the proxy-war in Ukraine. ✔️ I’m tired of Trump attacking every genuine America First conservative and attempting to throw them out of Congress. ✔️ I’m tired of no accountability for Epstein. ✔️ I’m tired of no accountability for COVID. ✔️ I’m tired of no accountability for J6. ✔️ I’m tired of no accountability for 2020. ✔️ I’m tired of no accountability for the Russia Hoax. ✔️ I’m tired of no one being able to afford a home. ✔️ I’m tired of high gas prices. ✔️ I’m tired of high grocery prices. ✔️ I’m tired of a broken and expensive healthcare system. ✔️ I’m tired of protecting cancer-causing glyphosate manufacturers. ✔️ I’m tired of the government spraying dangerous chemical across our skies. ✔️ I’m tired of having fluoride in our water. ✔️ I’m tired of protecting big pharma. ✔️ I’m tired of high inflation destroying our standard of living. ✔️ I’m tired of their complete failure and abandonment of deportations. ✔️ I’m tired of foreign aid. ✔️ I’m tired of the DOGE failure and more government spending. ✔️ I’m tired of passing hate-speech laws. ✔️ I’m tired of hearing from Trump’s new “MAGA” team of Mark Levin, Lindsey Graham, Laura Loomer and Randy Fine. ✔️ I’m tired of Trump blindly pardoning convicted criminals for donors who write big checks. ✔️ I’m tired of politicians traveling to foreign countries every week while Americans watch as their country is being sold out, chopped up and destroyed. ✔️ I’m tired of politicians who are 100 years old. ✔️ I’m tired of the government’s expansion of the surveillance state and continual renewal of the FISA program. ✔️ And I’m tired of the government covering up the assassinations of American Patriots like Charlie Kirk, hiding the truth about events like 9/11, JFK, the Las Vegas massacre, the Oklahoma City bombing and neglecting to prosecute the documented crimes on the Clinton email server, the Weiner Laptop and the Hunter Biden laptop … for starters.

Iran was an imminent threat. President Trump did what forty years of feckless foreign policy could not - he took the threat seriously and acted forcefully - as he always does. The initial bombings were completely justified on those narrow terms. BUT I DO NOT SUPPORT TROOPS ON THE GROUND. We don't need the same neocons who got us into Iraq - sending our sons and daughters into Iran.
