XRP is approaching a $200B market cap, but has largely been left out of DeFi. That changes with Firelight. @calminspace FLR is currently moving inline with the broader market despite the high ecosystem growth. The coming Governance proposal seeks to create a strong economic linkage between ecosystem activity and the FLR token economy.

As America cements its position as the crypto capital of the world, clear rules of the road for software developers are critical. Today’s staff no-action letter delivers long overdue clarity for non-custodial digital wallet software providers.

Exciting milestone for @Ripple in Australia! 🇦🇺 Ripple is obtaining an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL). As we continue to bridge TradFi with the next gen of digital infrastructure, regulatory compliance remains the foundation of everything we build: on.ripple.com/4bnSCs9 With this license, we are doubling down on our commitment to Aussie financial institutions and enterprises, providing a fully regulated, end-to-end platform to move value faster and more efficiently than ever before.

I agree that is a great point, it’s coming but I think they are setting up for it. They need critical mass on their enterprise payments and Ripple network first along with integrating all the acquisitions into it. The XRP Ledger is slowly be upgraded to facilitate the institutional requirements for privacy, compliance, security, and native core DeFi primitives. Then top it off with WASM smart contracts

@bgarlinghouse @eksrp123 @MonicaLongSF You say “XRP is at the center of it” but we just don’t see that on the ledger. XRP lives on the XRP Ledger and we don’t see the activity or volume on the ledger that would confirm your statement🤷🏻‍♂️ Please PUT IT ALL ON THE LEDGER! Thanks 🙏

3 continents, 4 global office visits, 5 days. Crossed too many time zones to count... Recently, @MonicaLongSF and I (along with others on the Ripple leadership team) traveled to Dublin, London, Singapore and Sydney to meet with the Ripple Team (many of whom joined from our acquisitions of GTreasury, Hidden Road, Rail, Palisade and Solvexia). A few notes from the road - 1/ centers of gravity (business and/or employee) are never stagnant, and getting out of the US coastal mindset is imperative. It was incredibly energizing to hear from new and longtime Ripplers on what moves the needle where they are. 2/ Culture cannot be taken for granted. More than ever, we’re championing a maniacal focus and eliminating bureaucracy for employees to be owners. Don’t confuse activity with progress. 3/ Adoption doesn’t happen overnight. Platforms > point solutions. Meet customers where they are, not where they might be in a couple years. 4/ AI is becoming a fundamental part of our products – especially in cash forecasting and liquidity management in real-time for the office of the CFO. Employee productivity may be where AI starts, but the end goal is much bigger. 5/ 2026 is shaping up to be another defining year. We’re in the right markets with the right capabilities across payments, custody, liquidity and treasury management. There's a huge opportunity ahead, and we are making sure XRP is at the center of it.

Flare's XRPFi vision is featured in @Forbes. "My goal is that Ripple does the BD to get the issuers onto XRP ledger and we end up as the place where it moves around," said @hugoPhilion. Flare will be the perfect complement to XRPL.

This shift isn’t ideological. It’s structural. Open DeFi rails are outgrowing closed banking models, like the internet outgrew legacy telecom systems. The mighty don’t fall bc new systems emerge. They fall bc they mistake control for permanence. We're 👀 it happen in real time!

Allocation Vaults may become the missing distribution rail for tokenized RWAs. A primer by @RWA_xyz argues that tokenization alone doesn’t create liquidity. What does? Connecting RWAs to DeFi capital markets. Allocation vaults act like an on-chain prime brokerage credit desk: - Curators underwrite which RWAs can be collateral - Define risk parameters & collateral ratios - Allocate stablecoin liquidity to lending markets like Morpho Once plugged in, RWAs can enter DeFi leverage loops, unlocking: - Borrowing demand - Yield generation - Scalable liquidity distribution Distribution rails then matter just as much as the assets themselves with platforms like Coinbase potentially acting as access points for allocators. The takeaway: The winners in tokenization won’t just mint assets onchain. They’ll design the liquidity architecture around them.

Everyone talks about AI agents in crypto. Almost nobody talks about the hard part: letting agents hold keys, follow policy, and produce audit trails. The moment an agent can pay, sign, and settle value, you hit three real-world requirements that institutions deeply care about: 1) Keys can’t leak. If an agent holds funds, you can’t store the signing key on a normal server and hope for the best. 2) Actions must follow policy. Spend limits, allowlists, approval flows, and “only do X if Y is true” rules aren’t optional when real money moves. 3) Every action needs a receipt. You need proofs that plug into the real world. Something an auditor (or a smart contract) can verify later. Even better if it's compatible with ISO. This is where Flare’s stack becomes interesting: TEEs (Confidential Compute) are the secure environment where the sensitive parts can run. Private keys and private decision logic. The output can be signed so it’s verifiable, not “trust our backend.” PMWs (Protocol Managed Wallets) are how that verified decision turns into an actual transaction on external networks like XRPL. They are wallets controlled by protocol rules, designed to execute safely (nonces, replay protection, controlled signing). Then you have Flare Smart Accounts as the control layer for humans + systems in a simple way. Agents can act within boundaries and can be controlled from the XRPL to trigger actions on @FlareNetworks. If the XRP Ledger becomes the global issuance layer for RWAs, this is a missing execution layer for making those assets usable by automated systems, while meeting institutional expectations. And by the way, we’re actively exploring this direction at @ProofRails, building toward verifiable payment workflows and receipts that plug into these primitives as they mature.
