@MedwayHS SNC2D students making observations, modelling, testing hypotheses, gathering data and communicating their findings in this black box water can activity. Big thanks to @HannLearn for the idea for this lesson.

@JBradshaw01 Hope that you started your lesson by saying: ‘Urine for a great lesson today!’

Going to say the quiet out loud. Maybe DON’T go to the hockey tournament the week before the exam period? Especially if your kid isn’t being successful in a course. Your priorities are showing.

Hey @CityofLdnOnt can you send a plow down to clear the snow in Gibbons park? The seniors I saw walking would thank you. And the cyclists who use the path for commuting!

Today @MedwayHS in Arva I measured 47 cm of snowfall at 1:30 pm. Even had the correct type of ruler!

Sometimes it’s the simple things while teaching that bring out the biggest ‘wows’. SNC2P science students LOVED mixing different colours of light together today in our inquiry activity!

We tell pupils to study, but have we actually taught them how to study?? Today I finished off my ‘How to study: a simple guide on how to study smarter not harder’ PowerPoint. Hopefully will help senior pupils learn how to study effectively ✨

Super sad to see the collisions @playmada website not work any longer. Some amazing chemistry based interactive learning now lost to the void…..loved their intermolecular forces section!

33% of our science department biked to school today. I’d call that a win!

Hey @WesternMustangs - I’m loving that you’ve closed your campus roads to car traffic! It makes campus have a nice feel. Would you consider doing this year round?

Love some dancin’ raisins! Q: How are solids, liquids and gases interacting? Can you fill in Johnstone’s triangle for what is happening?

Just going to say it - 32 students in a chemistry class isn’t ideal for learning (or safety). Plus….learned that we don’t have $ for new whiteboard markers…..yikes.

@MigchelsMandy Unfortunately…..yes. Crazy that Gr 10 foods class is capped at 20 students because of the kitchen, but chemistry and Bunsen burners get 32 students?!? We also had a biology class at 35 students? That surely will have to change.
