🚨🚨MASSIVE OREGON 2A WIN🚨🚨 ICYMI: Sometime in early 2024, Oregon State Police changed their Firearms Transper Policy in the FICS (Firearms) Unit and began DELAYING people with convictions set aside under ORS 137.225, and upon a delayed challenge they were DENYING the transfer. Both state and federal law allow a restoration of firearms rights with a set-aside. OSP tried to claim that people with set asides weren’t covered, that we were FEDERALLY disqualified, and that we didn’t have “jury rights back”, so we weren’t covered by “civil rights restoration” either. We were told to appeal with the FBI. I was one of these Delay/Denials. I said “Fuck You, No” and hired an attorney. To further prove my point I purchased 2 suppressors, which undergo an ATF/FBI background check, and skip OSP. I was approved for both in RECORD time! This confirmed my suspicion that OSP was taking a FBI approval, and changing it to denied! After OVER a YEAR battling, we won in the Circuit Court for Marion County in Oregon. I found out today that OSP will not appeal the decision, and while we didn’t get declaratory relief for everyone, OSP has yielded and changed their policy to reflect our judgement! Huge Win! TLDR: If you had a set aside conviction in Oregon, and were delayed or denied a firearm transfer with a clean record, YOU’RE CLEAR NOW! Accusations or not, he’s not a Trump supporter. He’s fine with open borders, and against a wall. Is okay with the Iran Regime having nuclear weapons. And, okay with China dumping products in the USA, that are made with slave labor, hurting our employees. He’s just not America First! And I believe, all NDAs by our elected officials are wrong, if they’re paying off bad behavior.

I just submitted comment on regulations.gov/document/ATF-2… Transferring Machine Guns Between Qualified Licensees I pointed out that 27 CFR 479.105 is not in alignment with 18 USC 922(o) (2)(A) and is consequently more restrictive. I asked that they reconsider the CFR and repeal or at least modify to align with USC as Congress intended, and allow transfers “under the authority of” government agencies and not only “for the benefit of”. I doubt they’ll listen, but gotta try somewhere right?

The ATF & DOJ announced a package of 34 rules that allows the government to hold your information for up to 60 years. And while Biden-era rulemaking forced ATF to hold your information “forever,” a change to 60-years is not a win.

The House just passed my NICS Data Reporting Act. The bill requires DOJ to provide aggregate demographic data of persons ruled ineligible to purchase a firearm under NICS. The data could show false denials disproportionately affect racial minorities.
