While i think the new Trader and especially the Expedition Vault is a great addition, this will not keep a alot of players playing until October - and i think Embark is taking the wrong approach here. Every single part of the Frozen Trail Update would be direly needed now - ASAP - in the game. Why bundle everything together? Why not split it up and release those things every 1-2 months? Why make us wait 5 MONTHS for that? This would have given us something to look forward to and something that really makes us come back again and again. But this way we only have some - for many players - quite disappointing updates and a very weak finale to the last Road Map to play for MONTHS to come. Beside that, alot of big titles are already set or expected to release in Q3/Q4 2026, which makes this decision even more questionable.

For a normal gamer, there is more than enough content. And tbf looking at player counts for games on this list it may seem like this is what Arc Raiders should not do ?

The game loop is no excuse. Its just flawed how it is at the moment. There is no loot thats really rare, no "mega items", no blueprints that only a few people found, no endgame events, no real bosses, no maps that you can only access with requirements. Other Extraction Games have things to do on higher level / in the end game. Why cant ARC Raiders do this? Escape from Tarkov: - Escaping from Tarkov - Labyrinth - Lightkeeper - Trader Progression - Prestige (with effects that are actually doing something + transfer of items) Marathon: - Cryo Archive - Ranked - Buildcrafting Arena Breakout Infinite - Warlord Tournaments - Anomaly Zones Delta Force: - Mandelbrick (grindy, but still) - Become the Boss Dark and Darker: - High Roller Lobbies - Deeper Levels with harder enemies

I analyzed the recent reviews and found the following reasons that people stated: - Underwhelming Updates - Weird Balancing decisions & Nerfs (Example: Photoelectric Cloak) - Weapon Durability Nerf - Sudden and very late changes to the Expedition System (wasted time farming currency) - ABMM Matchmaking not working correctly - Players Abusing / Manipulating the ABMM Matchmaking - No Endgame in the game - Its not really worth grinding bigger ARC (loot-wise) - Cheating & Exploiting - Lacking in the Community Management Can you agree with those points? And what would have to change to turn things around?

Truly idc what people play or like or dont like, I just do see a pattern of every hot new game over the past year with tons of hype just not being what it was made out to be so I was wondering if its the new norm (gryzone, abi, marathon, delta +more) I hope arc succeeds cause I had fun till I felt like I beat it and had nothing else to do

Embark Studios is just getting started We've only gotten two games from them so far, and both are certified bangers. Can't wait to see what they're cooking up next, whether it's DLC for their current games or those two unannounced projects they've been working on 👀

But I get occasional PvP encounters, sometimes rats, sometimes it's just people on edge who don't trust anyone, sometimes it ends well, sometimes not

I've been doing them and honestly loving how each time it feels different, you end up changing/refining your play style. Cons, redoing the quests and leveling up scrappy feel like a chore. And bloody searching for rusted gear and medical kit. Urrgh

@burntpeanutclip couple hundred hours is more accurate in Peanut's case. for your average gamer that plays maybe 10 - 15 hours a week, there's a lot to do in Arc Raiders

yes just simulating trades until you fund the wallet 💳 > go to profile (bottom right on mobile, top right on desktop) > hit create trading wallet > only you have access to it, once you create it you can export the private key and fund it with some SOL. Only use smol amounts it’s beta

On top of that, the Jupiter treasury will step in to buy back tokens from team members who decide to sell. 2> Postponing the Jupiter Airdrop Indefinitely: Instead of releasing the 700M $JUP now, those tokens go back to the community reserve, where they originally came from. Snapshots stay preserved and can be revisited in the future. 3> Offsetting Mercurial Stakeholder Emissions: 5% of total supply was allocated to Mercurial stakeholders. Tokens will be distributed as scheduled, and all wallets will be monitored. If any tokens are sold or moved to CEXs, Jupiter will buy back the exact same amount from the market.

Everyone saying $SKR rewards were a “gift” is missing the point or lying to themselves. Nothing was free. We paid for the phone in presale almost a year before we even received it. That money went straight to Solana Mobile and Toly. That was capital. That was an investment. Nobody spends $500 on a paperweight. We invested with the expectation that value would come later. And whatever came back wasn’t generosity, it was delayed ROI. To the younger crowd: Solana is a casino. I’ve spent the last 5 years on this chain. Almost nobody here thinks long term, no matter how nice the branding or community talk sounds. Learn the real lesson early: loyalty is not rewarded in crypto. You are always exit liquidity. Never expect profits or rewards because you were loyal or early. Be aggressive. Take profits. Sell when you have a good exit. That’s how you survive on Solana.
