Great example of tornadoes riding their surface inflow like a zipper. There’s one terrifying local video from Hackleburg-PC from directly underneath its feeder band. Just goes off into the trees. The folks recording have no idea what’s coming.

The sun came up in Utqiagvik, Alaska — the northernmost city in the U.S. — on Sunday morning and it won't set again until August 2. Timelapse footage from the National Weather Service shows the sun setting at 1:48 a.m. before rising above the horizon at 2:57 a.m.

This brings back vivid memories of the January 2017 Dixie Alley high risk and the Albany, GA EF3 with @StormCruzzer. At 1.5 miles wide, that tornado chewed through millions of pine trees— to the point that it smelled like a bottle of Pine-Sol was spilled in the back seat.

Documented the full path of the Bude and Brookhaven tornadoes this afternoon with widespread deforestation observed Southwest of Bude, Mississippi. Full footage below. There is also a notable nearly 1 mile gap between the main tornado and another nearly quarter mile wide tornado damage path despite there only being one storm. @spann April 27 Tuscaloosa. Picture taken from Cottondale as Storm Spotters are reporting crossing HWY 359. Eventually it came as close as 5 miles from my home.
