@nextofficial after 30yrs of being an account holder I had to close it today. Having never missed a payment this month I was just 3 days late so I was immediately referred for a black mark against my credit. I rang to query and was told that’s how it is. 3 days!

It’s so nice to have time to do something different. Work on the house/garden, spend time with family, study, spend time doing some physical challenges. A change is as good as a rest

Anonymously used two ex pupils and their journey in assembly today. We often reflect on the impact of teachers but for me the impact my pupils have had on me is more powerful than my own memories of school. Seeing my pupils overcome difficulty to succeed…it’s never forgotten.

Today was good. I have now got a workable list of to dos that I know I can do well. I have a better understanding of what is needed. I have a clearer insight in what people around me need from me. I’m on my way forward.

@smithsmm Thank you for raising awareness. It’s an awful situation the DfE are creating by underfunding LAs to meet need.

The reality around SEND is that some schools make very few adjustments, they make it difficult for young people to succeed there so parents move them, some schools suggest other places are “better” with SEND or say they can’t meet need smithsmm.wordpress.com/2020/02/08/the…

I think some people are blind to the huge complexity of need in some of our schools. In some areas there are no special school places, children with hugely complex need are in mainstream. The idea we teach them all the same is an utter joke.
