@PappenheimWx I’m camping in Otisville in pop-up with no A/C. It has been an interesting week weather wise. Spent most of the day indoors, but no overnight indoor option.

Are people actually crazy? 🤣 This is the St. Joseph, Michigan beach cam earlier this afternoon, with hundreds of beachgoers enjoying the smoky conditions on Lake Michigan. With the current AQI, if they’ve spent the entire day there, they’ve essentially smoked the equivalent of about 17 cigarettes today…

@PappenheimWx I was out east of Caro today and in Saginaw. The Cass River and Tittabawassee Rivers are also pretty high. You could get some good footage with “minimal” time commitment.

Significant flooding is occurring in downtown Owosso, Michigan this evening as the Shiawassee River is forecast to reach 8.2 feet by midnight—nearly a foot and a half above flood stage. Drivers across town are attempting to transform their vehicles into submarines, which you should never do! TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!

@TylerJRoney I didn’t get my first cell phone until I was in college @ 23 with an old car, 2 day drive from home. It was a hand-me down Motorola with the skinny mouth piece that you had to flip open and I only had prepaid on it. My kids - handme down iPhone in Jr. High.
